This place was quite good but by the time we got here (around 7 on a Friday night) the staff was scrambling because they were out of a lot of things. We opted to sit inside and basically heard the entire commotion between the waitstaff and the cooks. Ultimately, the owner came by and helped to settle things down but our poor waitress was clearly overwhelmed and looked like she needed a hug. Our food was otherwise good, even though we had to settle for some proteins that weren’t our first choice. I would still go back and give them another shot.

OVER PRICED & Yuck! Keep Walking!!
Dined here tonight and OMG we wish we didn’t.
The chicken taco at $16 was perhaps the saddest excuse for a taco ever. HORRIBLE.
The 3 Dip & Chip app was bland and borderline disgusting and at $25 it was ridiculous & YUCK.
Lots of good restaurants in town, sadly this just isn’t one of them.
Do yourself a favor….Keep walking & dine anywhere else.
Or go hungry, which is also a better choice

This is a Baja California-themed restaurant from what I gathered. So the flavors aren't going to be typical Tex-Mex, which is what I think some of the negative reviewers were expecting. I thoroughly enjoyed the Mama's enchiladas with carne asada. The rice and beans were delicious. Re prices, every place is expensive these days, unfortunately. And this is a resort town.

I was so excited to eat here - the outdoor seating is very nice, and the service was good. The food, however, is overpriced and after having a bad experience eating the chips, salsa, and queso, we left. The chips were not fresh and the salsa tasted like it had gone bad and had soap-like bubbles in it. We ordered the queso and it was underwhelming/tasted cheap. Someone else in the reviews had mentioned that it was like Tostitos queso, but in my opinion, Tostitos queso is better than the queso here. Very disappointed.

2 tacos for 17.00. That's utterly ridiculous
The atmosphere and location were great. However the rest went downhill fast. The service was extremely slow and the food was not good at all. For a party of 2, a $170 dinner should have been something to remember however it was the worst steak fajitas I’ve ever had, zero seasoning and no flavor. The margaritas were decent and the best part of the meal. But my experience left me feeling ripped off for that price tag.

Watered down margaritas, terrible salsa, and Tostitos tasting queso. We’ll never go there again.

I don't mind paying good money for good food and drinks, but you better deliver. $19 dollar frozen strawberry margaritas tasted like it was a strawberry mix of mostly sugar and maybe no alcohol? If it's going to taste bad, at least put some alcohol in it. Chimichangas were mediocre. Waitress finally brought sour cream after we were finished food. A bit disappointed.

Absolutely delicious Mexican food with fast and friendly service. Highly recommend the margaritas, especially the mezcal margarita. Everything we tried, down to the salsa that came with our chips and the Spanish rice that came on the side of one of our entrees, was fantastic. Definitely worth stopping by while you're in town.

Had another great dinner at San Miguel's! This time I had the fajitas. So flavorful and delicious. The Midnight Azul marg is my new favorite. A breath of fresh air for food choices in St Michael's. The staff and owner are exceptional.

From my car I could see the nice atmosphere and I didn't hesitate to go in; it was great.

I just want say 5 of 5 stars. The food was excellent as well as the service. The owners also have another restaurant down the street The galley that I can't wait to try
We were in the mood for Mexican food. Unfortunately the food wasn't good. I had Flautas which had zero filling and the portion size was quite small. It only came with (3) which costs $18.00. I was given a side of rice and refried beans I didnt ask for which was an additional charge of $4.00. It was supposed to include guacamole but it wasnt. I've had better flautas which is another name for a taquito at 711. My husband had a shrimp dish that included 5 butterflied shrimp, a small portion of rice and beans. The shrimp were bland and butterflied in the shell. The shrimp had to be peeled from the shell to place on the wrap. Not a good way to serve what I'd call a soft taco.
The service was exceptional. Unfortunately the food just wasn't good at all and very pricey.
