We love everything about San Miguels. A family owned and operated business providing great food and service. The hostess is courteous and accommodating. The owner, Jennifer, is always present and welcoming. The service is awesome. The whole team works cohesively and professionally. The food is freshly prepared and presented with a festive flare. The salsa, guacamole and house made sauces are delicious. The beef and chicken is cooked to perfection with a wonderful blend of spices. The margaritas are delightful and the tequila selection is amazing. It’s a great place to enjoy great food! We also love Jennifer’s additional restaurant, The Galley. We highly recommend both locations for an excellent dining experience!
San Miguel’s Mexican Food - tasty, embracing server, great Margherita price Tonight was our first time for an early dinner at this Mexican eatery in the middle of town. Our server delivered the chips and salsa and two value priced Margheritas at $6 each. My chimichanga was flavorful and the beans and rice were good complements; my partner had the chicken quesadillas and she loved the light spiciness. Allison, our server, was so sweet and accommodating as well as being an attentive server. Prices were moderate and the servings were plentiful. Only negative was the 4% surcharge for paying by credit card, a real turn off!
I didn’t find the food very good and I would not recommend this restaurant. Sorry.

The most unbelievable experience we've ever had! We visited St. Michael's , MD in October, (the week of 10/14), 2024. My wife and I were with two other couples, where we spend a week in that beautiful town each year. We decided to give San Miguel's a try, and let me just say, it was amazing! The food was fantastic, the decor was incredible , the service was tremendous, and the owner, Jennifer, was like no owner that we've ever met, anywhere? I'll elaborate in a minute.
First off, each and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. A favorite was the Chimichanga! The margaritas were the choice for each of us. They were excellent! The waitresses were very attentive to all of our needs. They were on top of everything we could have wanted, even though they were tending to other tables. The owner, Jennifer, took the time to greet us at our table, and went on to explain how she and her husband ended up opening a Mexican restaurant in St. Michael's. It was definitely an interesting story. Just to have an owner stop at your table, without hurrying to slip away, and take the time that Jennifer spent with us says a lot about the way she runs a business. We thanked her for a great meals, drinks, and service!
Here's what completely blew us away;! I went up to the counter to pay for our meals, I was looking across the street at Jo Jo's cream shop, when I saw the owner begin pulling in the signs, and putting a closed sign in the window. The time was approximately 5:59 pm. As Jennifer was taking my money and giving me change, I asked if there was another ice cream place in St. Michael's that was still open, as there was a gentleman closing his ice cream store across the street from her restaurant. Well, as soon as I mentioned that he was closing up, she handed me my change, ran out from behind the counter and across a very busy Talbot Street, and began speaking with the owner of the ice cream shop. She spoke with him for approximately one minute, then headed back to her restaurant. As I walked outside, she was coming back to her restaurant when she gave me the thumbs up and told me that he would remain open for the 6 of us in our party to enjoy a taste ice cream! I was absolutely in awe that an owner would go to that extent for customers that she had just met! We couldn't thank her enough for what she did for us!
Jennifer, we will definitely be back next year for the food, drinks, and because of your willingness to go above and beyond what no other business owner has ever done for us! Way to go young lady!
Thank you for such a great experience! We wish you nothing but the best with your new business!
Parking: There are a few spots for San Miguel's, and another establishment, so if you don't arrive early enough to grab one of the spots in the restaurant's parking lot, there is a free parking lot across the street. In addition, there is also street parking available

We just had a wonderful dinner at San Miguel's. We tried three different margaritas and each was better than the last. The guacamole was excellent and the salsa was fresh and just perfect for us. Enchiladas for me and chimichangas for my husband had great flavor and we couldn't finish our meals. Sadly I had no room for the tres leche cake. I should have taken a piece to go! Our server Caroline was terrific and she really made the night for us.
I only have two nights in town and am so glad we tried this place. Highly recommend a visit.

Decided to go for a “taco Tuesday” with my fiancé. We currently live in St Micheal’s and didn’t feel like going all the way to Easton, so we stopped in here! Would recommend this place to anyone! Quaint venue and menu which is absolutely what we were looking for. Flavor was all there as well as the customer service. 10/10 highly recommend! Support your locals!

Restaurant is truly authentic Mexican food ... found nothing like it in Talbot County, or on the eastern shore for that matter. Everything is fresh and made-to-order, from hand crafted cocktails to ample main dishes ... and try to save room for the Apple Empanadas.

Having lived in and visited Talbot for over 35 years, we're used to the pattern of a good, new restaurant coming up to speed before reaching its potential, and this place has definitely started to hit its stride. We've been twice, once when quiet and once when overwhelmed, and had wonderful experiences both times. The food is fresh, fun and delicious - shout out for the street corn dip and special mention for the classic margaritas (best deal on the MES). The service has been wonderful, even when they are hit with an unexpected crush (thank you, Cara). And although the dishes are not some of my favorite complex, classical ones, like mole, cabrita or conchas, they are well seasoned and beautifully presented. Stop reading and go check them out; you will be happy you did.

I have had fish tacos all over Cental, South and North America. This are some of the best I have had. It's a must stop if you are in St. Micheal and enjoy fish taco's. The owner is great and the staff is friendly. No pic because it was so good.

So delicious. I chose the Jalapeño Cucumber Margarita and Bean Chile Relleno Burrito. The Margarita had heat and flavor. I love Chile Rellenos and what a great idea of adding one to a burrito with Creama Mexicano.
