Let' me start by saying the food was amazing. But the atmosphere and staff really amp it up. The care, kindness ,and hospitality shown to you as a customer is genuine and unmeasurable . It is essentially the secret sauce that makes your experience memorable. And it's something that is lacking in all of corporate-run companies that care more about profit than a customer's experience. This is my wifes hometown and she recommended going here, and I was not disappointed....
You can't go wrong with a stop here. Great food and soups are delicious. Ready to go meals in the carryout freezer. Fresh salads . Cookies and sticky buns .All items are great for eat in or carryout. Tell Ms. Patsy hello.

Excellent staff and cook—-delicious turkey salad, potato salad and coleslaw and “Rachel” sandwiches: pastrami and corned beef grilled with cheese. Desserts were sliced: excellent carrot cake and frosted lemon cake.
Definitely making this a stop on our next trip!
