The food was fine; nothing to write home about.
- The fried cabbage has too much meat (easily a 50:50 ratio) and far too much salt. If the meat is already salty, you don't have to add more.
- The Mac and cheese noodles were overcooked and mushy and overall more wet than cheesy.
- The fried catfish batter is way too thick, so the fish was super crispy but not very flavorful.
- The potato salad was okay. Just okay. Could use more...

I was visiting ocean city and this was the closest soul food restaurant and it was worth the drive. The food was simply amazing but most of all the catfish is out of this world. I can’t wait to come back.
(Sorry, mouth full. Busy stuffing face.)
Native New Orleanian taste buds felt at home. Absolutely everything we tasted was exactly as it should be: hot/cold, crisp/tender, sweet/salty. All appropriate for the item. Everything was clean, service was very good.
