“Been meaning to try this place for a while and I'm glad we did. We ordered chips and guacamole, tacos, and a steak chimichanga. The guacamole was smoother with a blended texture and very tasty. The steak chimichanga came smothered in a choice of either salsa verde or rojo. I picked the verde and that also was very good. I expected the tortilla on the chimichanga to be fried so was surprised when it wasn't, but it was tasty anyway so no harm done. My friend said their tacos were authentic, with the favorite being the carnitas. They have a variety of sodas and other drinks in their refrigerator case that looked interesting. I got a Vietnamese mango drink called Oh Fresh which was good.“

We always pass Pollo Fiesta on the way in but never ate here before this visit. First things first, I am GLUTEN FREE and MANY "Peruvian" or South American rotisserie chicken places marinate the fowl in BEER (cerveza) and/or use soy sauce in seasoning...this prohibits the delightful pollo from my diet! The wonderful young lady who was managing Pollo Fiesta the day we were there assured me that the chicken was hand rubbed with a gluten free seasoning blend. Both my wife and I LOVED it! I had a side of black beans that were good. NOT GREAT, to me, because I am used to Cuban black beans that are seasoned differently. My wife had a side of plantain that she loved. This restaurant does not offer much in the way of ambience. But it IS very suitable for a family with young kids! The service is wonderful! I highly recommend this restaurant!“

“My enchiladas are the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve eaten them from a lot of places across Maryland. Plus the chicken in the kids chicken quesadillas were so flavorful and the fries were salted perfectly, not too seasoned and you don’t need ketchup at all. The enchiladas come with refried beans and rice and they were very delicious too! The sauce was not spicy where you couldn’t enjoy it - just so much good flavor. “Went for my birthday dinner and it was my first time. Normally go to a place in Ellicott City but this was really good and much closer. Food was tasty and service was pretty fast. The only issue I had was that the frozen margaritas were weak and had a lot of flavoring in them instead of tequila. Parking lot is a little small and a pain to get out of as there's only one entrance/exit into Ritchie. Would be nice if there was a second that put you on Americana to get to the traffic light. Reasonable prices and family atmosphere will have me coming back when I want Mexican and do t want to travel to E.C.“

This establishment is under new ownership and the family came out to meet my son and me. Not only was the food was delicious and very, very affordable, they had great customer service. And believe me when I say that Original Burrito with steak and my girlfriend's Steak Quesadilla were phenomenal! It lasted maybe 5 minutes after I got home cause I was left wanting another. The green salsa that came with it was the perfect accent to my Burrito while my Gf's Quesadilla was so rich she couldn't finish it. To top it all off, the Passion Fruit drink we got was a sweet elixir that helped the food go down and soothe the palette. I'm no food critique, but this spot is a definite 10/10 spot.“

Overall, the food was amazing. We shared the house chips and salsa that were complimentary to each table and ordered the elote. The elote was great overall in flavor but was a bit hard to eat as the corn was a bit underdeveloped. I, myself, had 3 tacos: the blackened shrimp, blackened tilapia, and carne asada. All 3 were cooked to perfection and packed with flavor in every bite. My wife had the al pastor tacos. They did not skimp on the meat or the quality. We will definitely be back again as the weather breaks and would totally recommend this place for a good time! Finding this location was hard, parking is small, and the area is not exactly the best (police officer is stationed inside due to the area's recent mishaps). We came here to celebrate a birthday and ordered tons of food and even dabbled in their dessert freezers (yes, they have four freezers of desserts to pick from). Each dish was fresh and full of flavor. It is the type of atmosphere where you feel as if you could just continue to order more and more while doing the happy food dance (work it off while ya eat, ya know?). But it is all so fresh that it is hard to stop eating! Tacos, tortas, quesadilla, gorditas, and birria were all amazing. We also tried nopal (cactus)--cooked perfectly. Don't forget to try the desserts! Flan, Tres Leches Cake, Fresas Con Crema, flavored Paletas (popsicles), Rice Puddling, Mangonada, and other frozen yummy treats.“
