Reading the reviews I was hoping for a great experience somewhat close to the authentic shaved ice snowballs I used to get from The Castle on Hollins and Hammonds Ferry Road. (Closed since Covid) This was not it. It was like I paid for a cup of ice. They lacked flavor and the ice was chunky. I guess my search continues.

Great little place right off the highway with over 30 different flavors. Their always adding more but still keep the classics as well. I've been going there for years and always look forward to the weather heating up because I know Shorty's will be opening.

Today was very disappointing. It was our first snowballs of the year. The cups have changed to the thin soda cups instead of the insulated cups from last year. The snowballs had barely any flavor and the marshmallow was chewy instead of creamy. So sad bc this has been something I look forward to every year for at least the last 9 years.
