“This location is super cute, everyone is very nice. Emma helped me customize my Nutella bowl and help me with the southblock app (which isn’t the best 😭) AND made my açaí bowl! She was awesome and as always the bowl was 🤌🏻 amazing. 10/10

this is for the regional manager/corporate/IT: please fix the app ordering - more customizable options (no/optional toppings like fruit) and also the point system doesn’t even work (applicable point options not showing up, also a bowl credit being $15 in fine print but $12.99 in store???). I literally can’t ever order my bowls ahead of time and it’s just ridiculous atp in 2025☹️“

“The absolute best place for Acai bowls and smoothies. To me this is the number one business in this field. On average I try to get South Block between 2 to 4 times per week. Staff is incredibly friendly and inside and out there are great places to sit. Visit them on a very very very hot day and you'll feel like your in heaven.“

“The Rosslyn location is so convenient for a quick lunch and the quality as always great. I ordered ahead online today but when I arrived there appeared to have been a system error. “There is a reason I've been a regular for a little over a year. When I first encountered this location, I was absolutely satisfied. The food and food presentation was exceptional; THE MATCHA BOWL WITH PEANUT DRIZZLE IS FIRE!!! The lovely ladies that work in the front are so sweet and always welcome me, regardless of being a regular. The atmosphere is clean and clear, I spend most of my remote-academic work in the location. Its like doing homework at a coffee shop... but so much better!!!“

“OMG! My favorite place for juice, smoothies, avocado toast and acai bowls now has SOUP! Just had their potato squash soup, and it was better than my homemade soup (which is also delicious). Will be visiting often this winter for soup, cappuccino and "stay away cold and flu" juices. Sooo happy to have healthy options close-by!“

I got the sweet cream cold brew, it was quite delicious, not to sweet and not to bitter. The atmosphere is very inviting, with plenty of seating and a gorgeous view of the trees in the courtyard!“

“South Block is the best! Ever since it opened I’ve been multiple times. The service is consistently friendly and fast. My personal favorite at the moment is the chocolate covered strawberry smoothie bowl! It’s so good! I love the variety of their menu because there is truly something there for everyone. The açaí or smoothie bowls are always fresh, thoughtfully made and high-quality. The smoothies are super filling, beautifully topped and tasty. They clearly care about what they’re serving. Highly recommend and will keep coming back!“

I’ve since gone atleast 2 times and can confirm the staff
has greeted me on each occasion, they are swift with taking and preparing orders and also even given me a sheet of coupons. Glad to see this improvement.

There was a couple in front of me. No one was working the register. No one greeted me despite me saying hi- I don’t work there. The establishment was honestly stink and besides me waiting for atleast 8 mins with no one acknowledging me, I left. 0 stars, I passed 3 and decided to stop here since I let was my first time seeing it the day before. I’ll stick to the other 3! Thanks for nothing.“

“What more can I say… I fell in love with there Acia bowls and I find that they make them to perfection . The staff are great and the atmosphere gives a beach vibe. My only complaint is that they didn’t take cash. Apparently the kids in the area have been terrorizing the business so they don’t keep cash in the store.“

“Very delicious smoothie. Came in around 8pm and felt a little bad because it was late, but I had just gotten into the city. The owner (I’m assuming) was incredibly welcoming and kind. I really appreciated the energy after traveling all day!“

“Stopped in for a quick and lite lunch around 1 p.m. and had next to no wait. I ordered the Fig & Prosciutto toast as well as the Tropi-Kale smoothie. The smoothie was excellent, and the large size is a great value over the medium - $9.99 for a smoothie, but that is in line with Tropical Smoothie and other places that offer similar products. The toast was fairly disappointing though, for $9.49 the piece of toast was much smaller than anticipated. I believe it was sourdough but the size of the toast was maybe 1/3 smaller than anticipated and for the price I would have opted for another menu item. As far as taste goes, the prosciutto was decent but the fig jam was disappointing. I will be back for the smoothie but I will avoid toast items in the future.“

Great place to meet friends as well, as meeting small project groups to work together.

Service is always surprisingly pleasant.
Music is not played loud.

“My daughter won a contest on Instagram for 2 free meals, drinks and cookies. She invited her sister, so it was 3 of us. We drove from Babylon to Manhasset to try this cute little cafe. When we got there I let the cashier, maybe manager know who we were. She was so gracious, explained the menu items and recommended the coffees we should try. We placed our order and waited. The food that came out was so pretty, smelled amazing and was delicious too.“
