I mostly place take out orders, and the online menu is such a confusing mess no matter what platform you use. And you can't place orders for some menu items, like fries, for some reason? This isn't really a place you dine in, fyi. You can, it's just really designed for take out.

We called in a take-out dinner order at 6:30 and were told it would be ready in 20 minutes. It took 65 minutes. And the 3 employees behind the counter putting the orders together had absolutely no sense of urgency. They were friendly, but they would not move any faster, even after being told how long we had been waiting. They also messed the orders up - the Ham and Swiss had no cheese, let alone Swiss cheese, and the Steak and Cheese had no steak. No meat at all. We'd been eating at Santucci's since 1990, but no more. The service is an embarrassment - I would never take a friend there. You new owners better start making changes soon. If the previous owners find out how bad the service is they may come back to haunt you.

I’ve been eating Santuccis for more than 20 years. I ate it so often, like many in the neighborhood i knew most of the workers by name and they knew my order before i walked in the door. I used to joke they would either cater my wedding or my funeral one day. With new management that is no longer the case. I’ve tried a handful of times since they switched and every time I’ve been met with disappointment. Ridiculous wait times, unfriendly staff, and the food just doesn’t taste the same. Santucci's was recommended by a client I was visiting in a nearby office park. He recommended the steak and cheese, which is what I ordered. This place has a few tables for sit in dining but thus is primarily a takeout and delivery type of vibe. The menu is an extensive list with breakfast and lunch items listed. The 10" Philly steak amd cheese is $14 not including chips and drink. The staff is friendly and helpful. The sub was middle of the road. The steak had little seasoning and a little more chewy than what I was expecting. The green peppers were cut length wise instead of diced which was different, however the sub roll was excellent. It almost overshadowed the rest of the sandwich. If I'm in the area I may give them another shot maybe they the turkey or cold cut on that bread should be delicious.
Parking: Parking can be found on the front and rear of the location

The sandwiches are pretty good but the wait is inexplicably long. I ordered with one other person waiting for a sandwich and it took like 20 minutes, for two sandwiches. Wait times under the old management for long, somehow they’ve gotten even longer.

Waited 30 minutes for a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. Turns out, they “ran out of eggs.” How does a deli run out of eggs? This place is clearly mismanaged if they forget to order the most simplest of ingredient. I will not be returning
Passed by many times finally thought I'd give it a try. Plenty of parking in the back. Place was bright and Airy lots of sunshine. Ordered a turkey Reuben. It was delicious. Not greasy. Only $8.50 !! Came back a second time for the corned beef Reuben. Same fantastic experience. Counter help extremely nice. Returned again for cold cut sub. Once again outstanding. My new favorite place to go in Silver Spring. Will be returning often highly recommend five stars

Everything that made Santucci’s is dead. It’s clear that the new owners are both cutting costs on ingredients and trying to explode their menu. We’ve tried the pizzas and just got sandwiches and they were both gross.

Finally giving up on my beloved Santucci’s. Tonight we ordered two subs. One had half the meat it would have had a year ago, and the bun was like leather. The other was equally depleted, and the bun was soaked with water for some reason. It was truly an awesome little place before the ownership change. Now it’s like a poorly run Subway.
