My favorite Cuban restaurant! Pollo Crema Vedado and Snapper Tropicana are SOOOOOOO GOOD! I’m sad the Bethesda location doesn’t have them on the menu!!!! So delicious.

I'm so happy to see this restaurant is still going strong! I was in a few years ago and ordered the avocado salad and Ropa Vieja. Both were lovely, but the Ropa Vieja was FANTASTIC - so flavorful, with the perfect smokey pepper undertones.

Poor service received when service was slow. Went for happy hour and ordered food and drinks from the HH menu. Server tried to charge us reg. prices and questioned if we wanted HH prices....

Wasn't worth the time or money. A bit pricey for the quality and quantity.

Service was great. The food not so much. The Cuban sandwich was alright, nothing memorable, and the Carimañola we ordered was cold inside, which they then kindly replaced for croquetas that were also ok.

Had a classic mojito. It was just ok, nothing to write home about. Also had the assorted apps platter which included a ham croquette, a beef empanada, shredded pork, fried chicken, crispy plantains, and yuca. Everything pretty much tasted the same, no distinct flavor. Added some salt and asked for some type of hot sauce and that made things slightly better. I had a light snack this day for lunch, but I would go back and try some other classics in hopes the flavor profile is more pronounce.

Beautifully prepared and presented food. The Snapper was delicious. The Margaritas delightful. Exceptional service in a relaxed atmosphere. I'll definitely be back.

The artwork in this restaurant is beautiful! Frankly though, that was the highlight. The cocktails were fine but not particularly notable, and the food (2 entrees) was under seasoned and bland, especially for the cost. Small exception - the plantains were very tasty! The (lack of a) cherry on top was the waiter chiding us for not paying in cash and choosing to pay via card - apparently "Cash is the preferred payment method" at Cubano's. There weren't any signs or indications mentioning that, so I'm not sure how first time visitors should know that in advance.I'd recommend skipping this place and going to any of the other great options downtown - it's such an easy walk to get to better food.

Friday night at Cubanos for Dinner. Great atmosphere, cozi restaurant, very warm and welcoming staff. Food was delicious and authentic. Please note: They prefer Cash, but do take credit cards.

Surprisingly on a Thursday they did not have many of the things on the menu; not even decaf coffee. Food was OK. Service was very attentive.

Cuban and international dishes with unmistakable presentation and seasoning; a place of pleasant meetings, with environments for celebrating birthdays, social events for companies and families, the kindness and service of the staff, leads you to feel and enjoy a very familiar place.

We arrived here to have lunch after a very long morning. From the moment we walked in all the lights and music were turned off, it smelled like cleaning products, and no one attended us. Someone finally sat us down only to leave us there and never return. Instead he went to the kitchen where I heard him speaking in Spanish, I assume he didn't know I spoke Spanish, and was telling someone over the phone that th inspectors were coming about the things that are wrong with their facility. The person never came back waited over 20 min and left .. saw someone else walk out with us .. also menu was very disappointing... As a Cuban, I was expecting Cuban food not other countries. There was a handful of Cuban dishes that's all

I've been very curious about this restaurant for a while. I had the opportunity to actually dine here over the weekend. I highly recommend their cuban sandwich and Ropa Vieja, along with their cuatro leches cake. Service was amazing! I look forward to coming back for happy hour.

The food used to be much, much better than it has of late. They so OVER DO the oil that it VERY negatively impacts the food. They also have TOO many dishes that are fried! Do they really believe that excess oil fixes flavor? We had to get extra napkins to drain the oil. Dishes have lost their subtle differences—again SO MUCH FAT! Fatty and poor quality cuts of meat. Very few offerings that are remotely healthy. Their prices have gone up! Their Mojitos are the VERY BEST. But, I came for FOOD and drink. Several times I had to go up front to get a member of the wait staff! That's a bad thing. What could I really say when the members of my party said, "We are NEVER coming here again!" The decor and artwork is beautiful. Demote the chef? [Ps: 1) Sad, as I used to always request to go to Cubano's. 2) Drop the Fat/Oil or BUY an air fryer.]

Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp but parking is metered.
