I'm so happy to see this restaurant is still going strong! I was in a few years ago and ordered the avocado salad and Ropa Vieja. Both were lovely, but the Ropa Vieja was FANTASTIC - so flavorful, with the perfect smokey pepper undertones.

Had a classic mojito. It was just ok, nothing to write home about. Also had the assorted apps platter which included a ham croquette, a beef empanada, shredded pork, fried chicken, crispy plantains, and yuca. Everything pretty much tasted the same, no distinct flavor. Added some salt and asked for some type of hot sauce and that made things slightly better. I had a light snack this day for lunch, but I would go back and try some other classics in hopes the flavor profile is more...

Friday night at Cubanos for Dinner. Great atmosphere, cozi restaurant, very warm and welcoming staff. Food was delicious and authentic. Please note: They prefer Cash, but do take credit cards.
