The atmosphere was decent, but my experience was marred by the emptiness of the place and the impression that they had just opened for the day. The customer service was what I've come to expect in Silver Spring Downtown, which is not exceptional. Unfortunately, I have been getting used to this lack of attention to customers.I chose to dine here based on some positive reviews and enticing food photos on Google, but I left disappointed. I ordered a chicken quesadilla, which was more akin to a bean and rice burrito, with only half a handful of small bites of chicken. For $28.00, mainly receiving beans and rice with minimal chicken and a flat quesadilla was unacceptable.I won't be returning to this establishment. Food was delicious, authentic, and cheap. Our server was attentive and polite. We had pasole, asada tacos, and quesadillas. No complaints, everything tasted amazing and portion sizes were great. He gave us multiple sauce options and each paired with the tacos wonderfully. We haven’t had good Mexican food like this since we lived in Colorado.

The food at this restaurant is delicious and it tastes like in Mexico. Service is excellent too. We ate pozole, birria and asada tacos, sope campechano, and horchata and tamarindo water. The totopos taste freshly made and are delicious. They have the best pozole in the area. The tacos were very good and tasty. The sope was terrific. The horchata and tamarindo water was also excellent. We'll definitely come back to try more of their dishes!

NAILED IT!! First Timers and we absolutely enjoyed this place. We were unsure if we could get crispy tacos from online descriptions- as we were “Jones-ing” all week for a Crispy taco. So we called to verify prior to ordering on Uber. Nice young lady answered and told us how to make order. FAST, delicious, hot and so flavorful. We can’t wait to have more experiences, hoping to get the same everything- every time.We thought price point was applicable and size was appropriate. The hot sauce was such a painful- delight!Thank You,The Jones

Cute and honest Mexican place serving good food at reasonable prices. Their veggie burrito is my frequent dinner fix. Don’t forget to get the orange spicy sauce with the burrito. It’s delicious ?
Taco Loco Mexican restaurant is a small establishment with good service. They offer both kiosks for ordering and tables for service. I tried the asada, chicken, and shrimp tacos with a side of rice. The tacos are on the smaller side, and the rice is decent. In general, the food is okay, and they have delicious side sauces.

Delicious but guy at the counter did not appear fazed when I told him that I saw a mouse run across the floor and go into the supply closet. At least pretend to care. I said it calmly and respectfully to him and even checked for his understanding in Spanish and English that's how unfazed he was.

This place sucks!! DO NOT BOTHER going here for some Mexican food. The tacos were extra small and they barely had any meat in them or cheese at all and the consome had a very weird taste. I normally don’t care about giving reviews but for this place I had to because of how bad it was. The food looked and tasted as if they didn’t even try at all.
