Moved to the neighborhood not too long ago. I visit this place almost every weekend for pan dulce. Conchas are great! All bread is fresh in the mornings of course! I don’t get the bad reviews.
The best cakes that I have tried in 20 years in the area, this one in particular was mango muss… super delicious soft…a sweet that was not cloying, in short, a delicious cake…the guests were fascinated asking where it was I bought and obviously told them LA BAGUETTE DE PARIS..!!
As others have mentioned, this is not a very French bakery; it’s more Central American. It’s not a place to sit down and enjoy your food, more of a take out. The prices seem good and the staff was friendly. However, it was not at all what we were expecting from the name.
