We cannot say enough good things about Mi Rancho. Food was very tasty, service was great and the atmosphere was wonderful. Drinks were outstanding. Will be back to visit our next time in Silver Spring!

Jose was our server, and the service was just not there. I ordered a drink - Cadillac Margarita with Strawberry and Peach. Jose, brought me a margarita with mango. I ordered, for an appetizer a Ceasars salad. Jose, came back several minutes later, and said they don't have Ceasars salad; this being after forgetting I asked for a salad. I had never eaten here before, but knew I wanted something with chicken and steak. Jose recommended their steak and chicken fajitas. When the food comes, I am given a chicken fajita plate, and it was nowhere prepared the way I asked for it. When I brought it to his attention, he argued me down that I had ordered the meal that was brought to me - only for our entire table to rehash the details of how we came to my order. Once the food was corrected and dropped off to the table, we didn't see Jose again until it was time for the check, and his only question was "do yall want to split it or do one check?" We paid our bill, and we continued to chat amongst ourselves. During that period we seen Jose several times, returning to our table asking if everything was alright as if to suggest it was time for us to go. No one was coming in, and the restaurant was not busy.
This service wasnt "horrible", it's just not some place I'd see myself spending my money at again.
Food was really good here. I had shrimp tacos and they give nice size shrimp. The guacamole is also very good. I also recommend the Pina colada I got a non alchol one and it taste amazing so I could imagine how good it would be if the alcohol was added.

This place was AMAZING!!! Service, food, drinks!!! I WISH they would open one in southern MD... Maybe by the National Harbor... I'd be there EVERY weekend!!! The atmosphere, the hostess, the owner (?) maybe... My husband and I TRULY enjoyed ourselves!!!

One of the very best places in the area for Authentic Mexican food! Owner and staff always so nice, courteous and welcoming! Love that you can order a pitcher of Margaritas on the rocks or frozen. Also one of the few Tex-Mex spots that have meat filled tamales (choice of chicken / pork). Love that you can eat outside (limited seating) or inside covered and has huge fans in for warmer temps & heaters during colder temps). Stays busy but always accommodating and the bar is upstairs , overall one of the best spots to go.
Parking: Small area behind the restaurant that was part of a former diner. But usually most people walk to or use the county run garage which cost about $1 an hour but is free after 9 pm & on Sundays and holidays.
Kid-friendliness: Accommodating to kids but wouldn't recommend as they play music and mostly adults drinking, enjoying themselves.
Wheelchair accessibility: Has a lower level dining area outside, which has umbrellas.

Our group of seven decided to try Mi Rancho at 7 pm on a Thursday. They were busy but were able to seat us right away. The staff was excellent and entertaining. The food was delicious. I had the most tasty and juicy chicken chimi ever. Prices were very reasonable at about $25 per person including beer.

Long story short...I ordered two steak taco salads with the taco bowl on the side. What I received was two orders of steak and two order of fajita sides. I called same day, spoke with Albino and told him I would come back but it would be a few weeks as I was headed out of town for a few weeks and I live and hour away but I would be back in about 3-4wks. Its 4wks later and I speak with Joe another manager explains what Albino said previously and I'll be there to pick-up. Traffic turned my 60min ride into 90min so I call and let the hostess know I'd be there on Saturday instead. It's Saturday, I'm ready to pick up I ask to speak to a Manager he said his name was "Castro". They (he) eventually made it right but not without a crazy interrogation and a review of the cameras. While I appreciate the business and their willingness to make it right, the way they went about it felt very accusatory as if I was lying in an attempt to steal from them. In any event they made it right which is why I didn't rate them a 1 or 2 but dine at your own risk. Thank you to Albino and Joe for being willing to help and not making it seem like I was a thief. To Castro, please remember, people will forget what you said, but will always remember how you make them feel so its not what you say but how you say it.

This restaurant offers a tasty and affordable menu in a comfortable, inviting and relaxed atmosphere. The owners and managers are always friendly and often times come up to greet guests at their tables. It’s a super friendly place and I have yet to try something on the menu that does not meet expectations.
