If you’re seeking a dining experience that blends impeccable service, exquisite cuisine, and a dash of Southern charm, look no further than Ms. Toya’s Creole Seafood in Silver Spring. From the moment we stepped into Ms. Toya's, it was clear that we were in for a treat. Our server, Felicia, went above and beyond to ensure that my husband's 60th birthday celebration was nothing short of extraordinary. The table was adorned with charming birthday decorations, setting the stage for a memorable evening.Felicia's knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she patiently guided us through our selections, making recommendations and explaining each dish with enthusiasm. The whole red snapper fish, cooked to perfection, stole the show. Paired with broccoli and asparagus, it was a symphony of flavors that left us craving more. My husband's gumbo was rich and flavorful, while the bayou and surf 'n turf rolls were a delightful addition to our meal. After dinner, Felicia surprised us with warm beignets and vanilla ice cream, accompanied by a heartfelt rendition of "Happy Birthday." Her warmth and charm truly elevated our dining experience. If I may offer one suggestion, it would be to consider providing wet naps or warm towels along with a bib for messier dishes like the gumbo. Despite my husband's best efforts to avoid spills, it was a humorous moment that added to the charm of the evening. In summary, Ms. Toya's Creole Seafood exceeded our expectations in every way. With impeccable service, delicious cuisine, and a welcoming atmosphere, it's a dining destination we'll be returning to again and again.Parking: Convenient parking is always a plus, and Ms. Toya's Creole Seafood doesn't disappoint in that department either. We parked in Town Square Garage, the large parking lot across the street, with its multiple levels and clear signage indicating available spaces, ensures a hassle-free experience from the moment you arrive. Using the ParkMobile app to pay for parking adds to the convenience, allowing you to focus on enjoying your dining experience without worrying about parking meters or finding spare change. Plus, the well-lit surroundings and ample signage make navigating the parking lot a breeze, ensuring a stress-free start to your evening at Ms. Toya's.mKid-friendliness: While Ms. Toya's Creole Seafood may not be the ideal spot for children with shorter attention spans, it certainly caters to adults seeking a relaxed dining experience with excellent food and drinks. The atmosphere is more suited for adults looking to unwind and enjoy their meal without distractions. However, they do provide high chairs and have a friendly staff willing to accommodate families with young children. So, if you're in the mood for fantastic food and drinks and can keep your little one entertained, Ms. Toya's is still a great option.

I reserved Miss Toya's for my birthday dinner and I am so glad I did. The food matched what the menu was giving. There were three of us dining in on a Sunday evening around 6:30pm, and when we walked in we were immediately greeted. The ambiance and atmosphere were really nice and the décor was beautiful. There is also a parking garage conveniently located right next to the shopping center and parking was free because it was Sunday.Food wise we started with three apps, the creole spinach dip, the crab deviled eggs and the oysters rockefeller. Everything was hot and fresh when it came to the table, except the deviled of course. While the spinach dip was good, I didn't quite get where the "creole" part came into play. I personally would have preferred little crostini's instead of the homemade chips that were given. The oysters were delicious and fresh. As for the entree's we ordered the loaded gumbo, herb roasted chicken and the crab topped salmon. The sides we chose were the mac and cheese, broccolini and the spinach. At first glance everything was plated beautifully, I am just not a fan of chicken quarter served whole and not cut BUT it was seasoned to perfection! The mac and cheese has a roux base with a shredded cheese top layer. The texture was really creamy, and the flavor was good BUT I would have preferred slightly more seasoning. The mac is a good size portion, and you will definitely have enough for leftovers. The gumbo was everything I looking for. The amount of ingredients was spread so evenly throughout each bite. And they also topped it with a crab cluster and gave me the option to make it spicy which made it a 10/10 for me personally. My guests and myself agreed that prices are slightly "steep," but the portion sizes more than make up for it. Between 3 people our tab was around $200 not including the tip. I would plan to go with an empty stomach and a full wallet.P.S. our server was Alicia and she was FANTASTIC!

I had an amazing first visit!!! I even took a picture of the to-go bag so I can make sure I visit the other restaurants! Telphia was an amazing host and very patient with the rookies of the evening.. If I had to complain about one thing I would say the music selection was so good I didn't know if I wanted to eat or sing!

Family dinner with my daughter on this Tuesday night for her birthday. It was worth every penny! Large portions of food that was oh so delicious. We all got something different. Everyone enjoyed their meal, and had enough left over to take home for tomorrow. The absolute best R&B playing in the background...took me back down memory lane. Our server, Telphia (rhymes with selfie) was so wonderful - kind, patient, helpful. I'm glad we got him, and will ask for him again. I plan to return really soon...maybe even for my birthday on Thursday!Parking: Street parking is scarce. But there's a parking garage directly across the street.

Somebody need to learn how to season and cook I seen a review from a YouTuber who said come experience this place he even called it trash I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt he was not lying but for you to charge 20% gratuity you need to pay people to come eat your food outrageous prices for mediocre if not less than food I would not recommend this place to anybody I wouldn't feed The leftovers or even non leftovers to a dog.

I’m giving them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️because they were so stingy with the veggies. But the half baked chicken was so delicious. Can’t wait to revisit

Very over priced! Some dishes are better than others, slow service, good drinks. The only dishes I would recommend are the voodoo shrimp, spinach and crab dip and the calamari. The seafood fried rice awful! The rice isn't fried it was overcooked. Overall I had high hopes for this place but left very underwhelmed

We had a phenomenal experience. We celebrated 3 birthdays, in a party of 16. Our server did an excellent job. Our food was amazing a majority of us ordered the eggs and tomatoes as appetizer they enjoyed it. I had the Charboiled Oysters they were pretty good. Majority of our party ordered the lamb and the consensus is the lobster mashed potatoes is the best side. The portions are great. My only request is add more high chairs. I don’t understand why restaurants act like families aren’t a great revenue contributor. Other than that we will return again soon.
