The service at Negril Eatery located at 331 Montrose Ave, Laurel, MD20707 is the best. I rate this place a 10/10. I highly recommend this place for as you say well -seasoned food.

Had the chicken soup. . .perfect flavors and spices. The chicken was extremely tender and delicious. The other ingredients, dumplings, yuca and carrots were the perfect combination.

The Jamaican patty is too salty to my taste so if you have highblood pressure definitely will trigger it. The coco bread is not fluffy like use to be it’s hard and seems over cooked. I love Negril located in DT Silver Spring. But it has been changed. Although I still recognize people , the taste has changed. I wish they will have more friendly dishes for people that live Jamaican food without having too much salty taste for others…

I love the food and it's reasonably priced. I'm addicted to their escovitch fish sandwich, fried plantains, and jerk chicken.

Dietary restrictions: I wish they would offer more gluten free options.

Got jerk chicken on the brain? No? Well, maybe you should.

Pro tip - add a little Genever to your Sorrel! It pairs perfectly.
