“I had the Arancini, gnocchi sardi, and olive oil cake and they were all fantastic. And while I came for food, I will say the two things I'll remember the most were 1. The fact you gave postcard with the receipt as a souvenir and one less thing I'd have to buy on my trip and 2. The service was amazing. I forget what her name is now, but my waitress came over and cleaned off the table of the two or three crumbs of truffle I had and got me new silverware for the second course. I can't think of any other restaurant I've been to where I've had service that attentive before.“
“My husband and I absolutely LOVE the Italian Pasta Shop. We look forward to it every week when we go to the Olney Farmers Market. Luca and his father are the best and make incredible Italian dishes. Our favorite is the Genovese rigatoni, it's such yummy comfort food!“

“Gigi’s is one of my absolute favorite spots in Western Market. The pasta is made fresh to order, and you can actually watch them finish it in the pan — it feels like a little chef’s table moment. The radiatore with amatriciana is my go-to. The sauce is rich and perfectly balanced, and the radiatore shape holds the sauce better than anything else I’ve tried.
I always add the veggie topping and extra cheese. The vegetables are fresh, colorful, and add the perfect contrast to the richness of the sauce — it never feels like an afterthought. Portions are generous without being heavy, and everything is consistently good every time I come.
One of the biggest perks for me is the timing: my order usually comes out in about 5 minutes, which is a lifesaver because I’m almost always there with two hungry, picky kids under 10. It’s fast, but still feels like fine dining.
The atmosphere has a modern, slightly upscale feel for a fast-casual place, and the staff is always friendly even when it’s busy.
If you love high-quality, freshly made pasta, Gigi’s is a must.“

He went above and beyond to make the day feel extra special — from his kind attitude to his incredible attention to detail. He was so attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel welcomed and celebrated. I truly appreciate the great service, and I highly recommend anyone dining here to ask for Pablo if you can. “I have ordered eggplant parmesan dishes for decades, all over the country. I had never had it in a sandwich before today when I popped into Santucci's, an institution in Four Corners. The eggplant parmesan sandwich was the best thing I have eaten in quite some time! I wanted to compliment the chef and was delighted to learn that he was one of the new owners, who has plans for updating the restaurant, while keeping the loyal customers satisfied. Micah Charles, from Trinidad, is incredibly talented! He mentioned that he had freshly breaded my eggplant dish and it was mouthwateringly excellent! I look forward to big things from this Montgomery County institution that is under new leadership from a fresh generation of talented culinary artists! My companion was pleased with his tried-and-true Italian cold cut sub (the restaurant's most popular offering), which he has ordered there for many years. I love buying the Italian grocery items (including frozen fresh pasta) to have on hand for home cooked meals, as well. Bravo, Micah! This could emerge as a real-life Montgomery County, Maryland version of Hulu's "The Bear" television show. It sure shows promise!“
