I found this property to be clean and inviting during several visits. The customer service is outstanding. We felt important to the agent showing the property. Our lifestyle was considered during the tour. To include the property amenities, parking, shopping, schools and front door school bus stop. We appreciated the attention to details.

The leasing manager, Carrol, is seriously so amazing! This was my first experience renting and she made the process so smooth and peaceful. She is very thorough, attentive, and so sweet! She is the perfect person for her job and it is very evident she loves what she does. Along with that, the maintenance team especially Jose are so helpful and detail oriented as well! The building is extremely clean and quiet with a beautiful layout. I am in love with my new apartment and am so excited to be living here. Very proud to call this beautiful place my home, thank you so much to Carrol and the rest of her team!

Edit 08/01/2022:

I have now lived here for a little bit over a year and let me tell you that some things have definitely changed, but my first review still stands. As the more up to date reviews will tell you, this building has a serious bug problem. I have obsessive compulsions with cleaning which basically means I am clinically neat and organized to a point that's considered a little crazy. So I'm cleaning my entire apartment 3 times a day, and even I see roaches and silverfish in my house. I already asked three different people who work for the building for information on what is used during extermination as I am sensitive to toxic chemicals (as most of us are) and I have pets. I would expect an expensive building like this to use something safe and organic or at least know what is being used, but no one knows so therefore the roaches are my new roommates I guess. In December I literally took out all of my food from my kitchen to see if it would stop and it didn't, even with my fridge completely empty they would crawl in there and die which is still disgusting. I lost 37 pounds since moving in because I don't feel comfortable or safe eating any of my food anymore and even with no food in my house, the roaches still come in. Seeing that based on the recent reviews, I am not the only one who is having this horrific experience right now, the management company should consider lowering our rent if they can't fix a problem that is CLEARLY no tenants fault, there's roaches even in the stairwells. Some nights I've seen roaches the size of a golf ball right inside the front door of the building. We shouldn't be paying $1,500-2,000 for apartments that are imitating A Bugs Life. This is a huge health hazard and if no ones going to do something about it, I can only hope I can stop others from making my mistake. You can and will find something much better for the price, I live in a box with bugs for close to 2k a month, do better.

Overall, the Apartment is pretty nice. Every thing looks fairly new save for a few of the closets, but you can still tell they're being taken care of. When I moved in it was clean and nothing was dusty or moldy; however, I did spot a roach on one of my first nights.

Moving can be quite the struggle. The building is pretty cramped and tight so bulky items can be difficult to bring in. One negative about this is there seems to only be one lady working in the office. Not to say she isn't doing a phenomenal job, but still, there's only so much one person can do at a time.

Oh, and the parking situation is less than ideal. You're not guaranteed a spot and parking is sparse on the surrounding streets. There are other options, such as other garages, but some of them can get expensive quickly.

-edit: roach situation was promptly handled within a few days and they actually have an exterminator come out weekly, apparently. A+ from me so far. - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings

Where do I start? 1st, An inspector in ALL of the building is needed. It’s very old. A big building with 15 floors. that means a lot of UNsanitary people, barely any janitors. Elevator Slow. Silverfish infestation, roaches, spider, drains are tired and torn. When I moved in I didn’t even notice behind the refrigerator was so DIRTY It was filthy . I also could not have a proper bath because the water would never go down even after calling Jose . While it’s beside a mall, rats, homeless ppl sleeping the lobby I mean hey, & crackheads near. Pay attention before renting to these apartments. Get what you pay for, They charge a lot.

So far, Carrol and Jose have been amazing. I'm still in the process of moving in as I'm coming from out of state, but they have been so attentive to all my questions/concerns and super accommodating. I hope this is an example of what I can come to expect in my new home in Silver Spring! - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings

Wonderful management team, and great maintenance staff (very responsive). Best apartment experience ever! Apartment condition is great and I love the space I have for myself and two kitties! Plus great view of the neighborhood and very accessible to public transportation.

Carroll was very kind when we were shown the apartment. The trouble started when we applied. Metro 710 using a company called CoreLogic to assess their applications. When we were denied, Carroll said there was nothing she could do and to reach out to the company. When we reached out, they said nothing was wrong with my partner's credit and that the other two applicants weren't even in their system. When reviewing the the CoreLogic report (sent to us via picture from Carroll), we noticed that much of the information given to CoreLogic was incorrect despite wheat we entered in the online portal. According to CoreLogic, the property manager enters this information, it is not sent directly from the application portal. Clearly the information was entered incorrectly. They listed the same social security number twice for two different people. This is not an error we could have made because we each entered our information separately. The error must have been made on the part of Metro 710 or CoreLogic. They just keep pointing the fingers back at each other. When we called to inform Carroll of the mistake, we were told to apply again and that no part o that cost for this new application or the original application would be reimbursed, even though the incorrect CoreLogic report was not our fault. This has fully deterred me from applying to this apartment and I am happy we did not move in there if this is how they handle sensitive information. Completely unhelpful and unprofessional. I have been scammed out of 75 dollars.

Great location in downtown. Great management and staff. Updated appliances and speedy attention to maintenance requests. Secure building in a safe area. Near the metro for easy access. Love it. - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings

This place is abominable! I was just thrown out of the leasing office by Lucille, who earlier entirely turned me out of the building like a vagrant after entering behind the Dominoes deliveryman--let me begin my story with the fact that my sisters have lived in this bedbug ridden establishment since July of 2016 with a "buzzer" (as Lucille states) that hasn't functioned I know this because this is my 3rd time visiting my sisters & twice before my sisters not only had to leave their key while I went sight seeing in DC but they had to leave the key FOB for me to make my way in rather than have me call to no avail. My sister has made several complaints to have this issue fixed as Lucille continues to even turn away their friends!
I just drove 14 hours & 6 minutes to arrive at my sister's door with their personal affects; for Lucille whom I might add was lolligagging with friends in the office rather than performing her duties---to notice my two bags as I entered the lobby, & proceeded to ask "what's going on?" (<---inappropriate customer service 101 "welcome to Metro 710 how may I assist you?" is what she SHOULD have said). Still un-offended I replied that I was visiting my sisters, stated their unit & she is expecting me. Lucille then ushered me towards the door & told me "that's not how we do it here, this is an access secured building so you have to be buzzed in by whoever you're visiting." I stopped her & told her that the buzzer has never worked--she then opened the door & told me I had to get out, she proceeded to "teach" me how to utilize the very system I explained to her did not work-still I was not offended I allowed her to demonstrate when my sister answered the phone & attempted to buzz me in---as I stated earlier the system FAILED as it had in October 2016 and last month when I visited, and according to my sister 3 days ago, when she reported it. Embarrassed Lucille then permitted me to enter. I on the other hand was extremely uncomfortable so much so that I felt the need to explain what has just occurred to the young lady, also a resident who held the elevator for me as she witnessed Lucille's treatment and demeanor towards me.
I'd like to thank Lucille for taking a journey I was excited about reaching the destination of & turned it into a "you don't belong here," moment I HAVE NEVER FELT THAT WAY BEFORE and I live in Palm Beach, Florida!
When I arrived at the 11th floor, my sister greeted me at the elevator & explained that she was escorting me back down to speak to Lucille about her behavior, so I unwillingly followed.
Lucille asked us to enter the leasing office where my sister sat & I stood near the door--partly because I was still in shock. Before my sister could finish getting her statement out, Lucille began accusing her of raising her voice--I then as a Director of 10 years interjected, that she was not raising her voice; Lucille then turned to me & stated that she was "not speaking to" me she only had to speak to the resident. I agreed with her, again my sister began to ask her "why did she turn me away?" Lucille AGAIN accused her of raising her voice--I then matteroffactly stated that she was not raising her voice. Lucille swung around and told me "I can throw you out of here" & swung the office door open; I then shared that she was an example of poor customer service, as a concierge she should have contacted the residents I stated I was visiting moreover she had no right to "throw" me out of anywhere, she should ask me to step out. Of course, she could not hear any of that because she began shouting over my sister--her customer, client, a resident as I went back to the elevator.
I shared this because hopefully management somewhere for this building or someone can speak to said Lucille Davis, Concierge and explain how many bad experiences it takes to lose a pot
