Menu prices are different from the one you get on your check. They will lie and tell you they just changed some prices but it’s been over a year. This is a scam restaurant, please do not waste your money here. There are plenty of places that will not try to steal your money

These people are constantly deceiving people. The price on their menu is completely different than what they charge you so pay attention to their scamming. There is no reason the price on their menu is different than what they charge!

This was once our favorite place, but for the last few months the food quality has completely went down. We kept thinking maybe it’s just this time, but Every dish we order no matter what day of the week tastes like leftovers, (enj enj yemel migeb becha) very disappointing. Never ordering here again.

Owner is very personable. Food and coffee are fantastic and authentically Ethiopian.

Only complaint would be the wait time on coffee, but then again it was well worth the wait ;)

I’ve been a long-time customer at this restaurant, but my patience has run out. Like many other Ethiopian restaurants, this place has no sense of urgency or accuracy. The service is painfully slow, and the staff consistently gets my order wrong. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve asked them not to put aybe (cheese) in my dish — at least 10 times now — and yet, every single time, they ignore this simple request. It’s beyond frustrating and shows a complete lack of care or attention to customer instructions. Waiting over an hour just to receive the wrong food is unacceptable. I’m extremely disappointed and would never recommend this place to anyone.

I really want to support small businesses and my people and spend good money trusting the service and food will deliver. This was not the case here at all. How hard is it to take an order that was repeated several times and then you get EXACTLY WHAT YOU SAID YOU DIDNT WANT. Do better. Stop making excuses on here for you services.
Very disappointing because it wasn't the first or second time this happened.

I am literally coming every day. I never seen such an excellent service in any Ethiopian restaurant. The food, the vibe and the service is always consistent.

I came to this Ethiopian restaurant, and the service and the food are horrible. The firfir is inedible, and the waitress never came to check on us. We sat there for a long time while she walked by as if she didn't see us.

Terrible service. We had to wait for almost an hour to get our food. Waiter didn’t even bother to serve us until I called him. It took them 30 minutes to get my water out. Also they display inappropriate music videos on the flat screen which is not family and kid friendly.

I recently visited sheger Ethiopian restaurant and cafe and, unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The restaurant was unbearably hot, with no air conditioning, making it extremely uncomfortable to stay for any length of time.

After placing our order, we waited patiently, hoping the food would make up for the lack of comfort. However, after about 10 minutes, a staff member returned to inform us that the dishes we had ordered were not available. This was incredibly frustrating, as we had already spent time waiting and were left with no option but to reorder something else, prolonging our uncomfortable stay.

Overall, the combination of poor ambiance and unprofessional service made this a regrettable dining experience. I would not recommend this restaurant unless significant improvements are made.

The catering service we received from Sheger Restaurant few days back was beyond our expectations. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the price was reasonable. They delivered all types of ordered food precisely on time. Thanking the management for keeping the words and offering us quality food, we say keep it up!
