The Angry Jerk Reviews
Food was very good!
Delicious! We got the chicken, oxtail, and shrimp tacos (picked the corn and pineapple pico as toppings), jerk chicken bowl (corn, jerk cauliflower, pickled slaw and pineapple pico as toppings), and angry mac n cheese. Shrimp taco was my favorite since it was the spiciest. They accidentally left out the jerk sauce I asked for and yet everything was still flavorful without it. They do offer delivery but I ended up picking it up since online ordering kept giving an error message....read full review
Great customer service. Experienced an issue with a third party ordering app and the owner contacted me separately and apologized w/ a refund. I wasn't able to make it back for a little while and the service & food was still great upon return.

The Angry Jerk is a restaurant that has received mixed reviews but shows promise with its delicious food and vibrant atmosphere. Many customers have enjoyed the juicy jerk chicken, flavorful wings, fresh veggies, and tropical coleslaw. The atmosphere is described as warm and welcoming, with good vibes that enhance the dining experience. However, some have noted that the cashier taking orders can be cold-tempered, which detracts from the overall experience.
The service is generally fairly quick, though some food items, like the fried rice and cabbage, have faced criticism regarding quality. Despite this, customers are pleasantly surprised by menu offerings such as the oxtail, chicken, and shrimp tacos. The jerk cauliflower and sweet potatoes continue to be highlighted as standouts.
While the portions may feel small for the price, the flavors are often praised as bold and authentic, making it a great spot for those craving a taste of Jamaica in the city. Overall, The Angry Jerk seems to provide a generally good dining experience, with some room for improvement in service consistency and value.
