I loved the food at this place they are very talented chef’s. The waiters are so friendly and nice. Zene is so kind and thoughtful when she passed out bread, made coffee, and gave my kids Abu Wallad ( cookies )❤️🇪🇹❤️

I had the pleasure of dining at Zene's Restaurant last night, and our experience was made even better by our servers, Shambel and Fere. From the moment we were seated, they were warm, welcoming, and attentive. They provided excellent recommendations from the menu and made sure our drinks were always topped off. What stood out most was how they remembered my dietary preferences and made sure my meal was perfect. It’s rare to find such thoughtful and personalized service. Thank you, Shambel and Fere, for making our evening special! We’ll definitely be returning soon.

Excellent food with great service.

We went with big groups and were treated like we were the only people in the restaurant. Great food and even better service.

The best Ethiopian local restaurant in Silver Spring. the owner was so polite and hospitable. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is always full of smoke(etan). Prices are very reasonable.recommend it for old age vibe not for youth.

Went with two friends this evening, both of whom had never had Ethiopian food before. Zene and the rest of the staff went our of their way with their hospitality and good service from start to finish. I got the veggie platter which was packed with flavor and offered a ton of variety. My friends kept trying to get me to pick a favorite and it kept changing bacause everything was so good. Definitely the best one I've ever had. I'm so glad this was my friend's first experience and I will definitely be coming back. Thanks so much for the incredible meal!
