So wonderful the legacy of Mrs. Kay's continues albeit under a new name. Went back for a 2nd time on my DC visit (had a place at Juniper Trail for 3.5 months) so wanted to revisit a haunt from when I was a kid (had sent them photos from 40-50 years ago inside). The restaurant and staff are lovely. Cocktails were good as was the service. The manager stopped by to check in with us which is always appreciated.

The food left something to be desired. The fried green tomatoes didn't have much flavor on their own and the sauce on the plate was minimal. The salad garnish was also minimal so it didn't add much. I was STUNNED by the experience I had at our friendly neighborhood restaurant, Zinnia this weekend.
