La Vela is our “go to” dinner location. Because of my wife's food sensitivities, we book early times so that the kitchen isn't already busy. As always, her duck and my bolognese were outstanding, and my daughter from VA loved her gnocchi with veggies. Madi was a wonderful server, and was attentive without being intrusive. This is why we bring guests to La Vela!!
Food was delightful. We were a party of 5 and everything was great. Me and my father in law both ordered the shrimp & chicken fra diavlo. It was the special and it was a great choice. Had a bottle of Chianti and an espresso martini to end the night. Overall, really great dinner choice!!!
Lovely Italian inspired restaurant just off the main street of Solomons. Location in the yacht club provides for a wonderful ambiance. Food was excellent from the appetizers, main and dessert.
