Sykesville Station Reviews
I've been to several incarnations of restaurants in this space and this one is just a click below the last inhabitants. The server was awesome, the food was OK (crab balls were amazing, but the shrimp salad was weirdly dry and tasteless.) The four televisions with horrible country music videos were a real distraction I could have lived without. Sykesville itself is a great little town - lots of terrific shops - and this restaurant is OK for a nosh pre- or post-shopping.
Thanks to Nikki D. and Everyone at Sykesville Station for great service and delicious food! The catfish was great and Guinness on tap made me feel like I was back in Ireland again!
Visited here on a Sunday for brunch. A bottomless mimosa/bloody Mary offering is always nice. Sykesville Station offers a mix of experiences according to recent diners. The food quality varied, with highlights like the crab balls and catfish, but some dishes like the shrimp salad fell short. The ambiance was a bit distracting with country music videos on the televisions. The Sunday brunch with bottomless mimosas and friendly staff was a hit, especially for celebrations. The vanilla ice cream and chocolate cake desserts were generously portioned. The restaurant is located in the charming town of Sykesville, making it a convenient stop for pre- or post-shopping bites. The kid-friendly menu and activities make it a good option for families dining out.
