Cielo Rojo is the best. I crave their tuna tostadas and margaritas daily. It’s my favorite place to eat in DC so we go often.

Their ability to elevate Mexican food is unmatched. Best mole and tortillas. So good!!!!
The flavors were amazing and the staff was so kind. A great restaurant that we loved celebrating our anniversary at! They were also able to accommodate our stroller inside

Tortillas, fillings, and sauces were all top-notch. Flavors were expertly combined not only in the food, but also in the cocktails.

The serving sizes were very small. I had the barria quesadilla. The consome had a lot of fatty pieces and not much beef, but decent flavor. We left hungry.

Some of the best tacos I’ve ever gotten. Full stop. Really cute place with what I believe to be authentic ingredients.

I had my wedding here a couple of months ago and am still so thrilled at how spectacular the service, food, and overall experience was. The owner and their event manager were both very attentive and willing to work with us to have an entirely vegetarian menu. They were also FANTASTIC when it came to food allergies. My guests with food allergies all told me they were well taken care of and that staff triple checked to make sure they were fed. 10/10 for the entire day. We love Cielo Rojo and will be back to visit frequently.

This is a hidden gem in Takoma Park. It’s well worth a visit even if you need to reserve a table and set aside the time on your schedule.
I’ve done lunch here a couple of times & realized how popular the restaurant is & how busy it becomes as dining guests continue to cycle through to enjoy their meals.
Make this notation as I would suggest you obtain reservations if you anticipate enjoying an evening meal.
There is free community parking in the same block & on same side of the street as Cielo Rojo. Honestly suspect once you visit you will be hooked for good.
