Love, love, love the food — so fresh and flavorful! Vegan bahn mi sandwiches, vermicelli bowls, fried rice with a side of chili crunch—-YUMMY!!! Many vegan options to choose. Sunday brunch, delightful!!! Highly recommended after a visit to the Takoma farmers market.

A wonderful addition to Takoma Park's growing food scene! Eaten there several times, and each time it gets even better! Attentive staff but not swarming all over us. Friends who were with us loved it, too. Just the right balance of spice. Every dish was wonderful!

Thoughtful and expert service. We appreciated the range of vegetarian options. And the clean but slightly quirky Star Wars decor.

Began with raw fish (2) and vegan salads to share. Mains were the duck, steak and one of the fish. Favorite is the beef pho but that will need to wait for the next visit.

Food was generally good but I thought that the vegan pho was overly salty. Banana dessert was delicious! Cute little place.

A lively, laid back feel, with lots of Takoma Park locals eating and coming in for take out. Service was fine, though seemed a bit disorganized. My husband got the Pho, which he said was excellent and I had grilled lemon grass chicken which was good. Would like to try it mid week when things might be a bit less busy. Overall good food, good ambiance, will go again! A nice addition to downtown Takoma Park .

I was super excited to try Muoi Tieu for my birthday. We had an early (11:30 am) lunch reservation so we were the first table seated in the restaurant. Our waiter was super nice but service fell off quickly after another table or two came in and food took a REALLY long time to come out. I had mentioned we were celebrating a birthday when I made the reservation but the restaurant didn't acknowledge it in any way (not even a candle in the dessert we ordered). The decor is really cute but the tables are very close together so it was hard to have a conversation with my companion over the louder conversation at the next table. The roast pork vermicelli was delicious. My companion liked her chicken ban minh but ended up taking out all the chicken because there was so much filling in the sandwich. I guess that is a good problem to have. I will admit I am not familiar with steamed banana cake so my plate might have been very authentic but it was not the "cake" I was expecting, but certainly full of banana flavor.

The food is very fresh. I was impressed by how delicious everything was my first time there and went back within a week. I had the Fresh Spring Rolls, the Crepe and the Steamed Banana Cake. The interior is new and the staff is friendly. The food came out fairly quickly. I highly recommend.

Incredible food and lovely service! Highlights of the meal include the crispy chicken appetizer with the lime juice and sriracha mayo, the steak entree, and the pandan ice cream.

Everything was amazing and thoughtfully executed—from the appetizers and entrees to the design, vibe, and customer service. We walked in and sat at the bar, and the bartender/server was so friendly and attentive. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was so kind. It’s obvious that she pours her heart and soul into the restaurant. We had the fresh shiitake rolls, bánh bèo cakes (tofu), watercress soup, and shrimp and pork bánh xèo. All excellent and yummy, with fresh and clean ingredients, which we could easily observe from the bar. Can’t wait to go back!
