“I have been here several times and each time have been happy with the food. Tried many different items on the menu and they all were tasty. My main reason for writing this review isn’t for the food though, it’s about my last experience at the restaurant. I stopped there with my daughter this past weekend. It was literally 100 degrees that day and after we ordered a man walked through the door about to pass out from heat exhaustion. He was clearly down on his luck. The lady who worked their acknowledged the gentlemen when he walked in and ask was he ok. He responded yes he was ok but wanted to get out of the heat for a few minutes and was it ok if sat down for a few minutes. She responded yes and gave him ice water. She then asked if he was hungry and the man said yes but he didn’t have any money right now. She told him that she would buy him a pizza and not to worry about paying her back. As I sat and ate while watching their interaction, it filled my heart with joy watching the compassion being shown to a complete stranger. I will for ever be a fan of this place as long as that lady is still working there!“

“Went to this location yesterday after a long shift of work, only thing open near me, and service was actually pretty good. Order through the drive thru and the guy at the window was quick and efficient, ask his name and honestly Darrius thanks for making my experience nothing to complain about. So nice he even offered napkins, appreciate it man.“

“Genuinely super delicious and you can taste the freshness of the ingredients!! Definitely will be coming back. Such a simple menu, but it’s working in their favor! The space is on the smaller side but they have an adorable outdoor seating. I also love how kid-friendly the place was , including allowing kids to draw to decorate the space! Staff were also super friendly and it just feel a like a great local spot, that I hope is here for as long as possible.“

“Saturday night around 8:15PM - only a table or two. Unexpectedly slow. But the staff members are very attentive. Our milkshake was delicious, fries was also fresh fried but thicker and less salty than any other Burgerfi I’ve add. The portion is also quite small. This is my favorite burger chain but the price point has gotten too high that sometimes we went to another one. Hope either portion could increase or drop the price down a bit to affordability🥲“

“Always busy, but seriously the best burger in town (if not the world), so it's worth the wait. I grew up on Good Stuff burgers and shakes. The Prez Obama burger (I think now known as the Prez Burger) with house fries (rosemary and all things delicious) with a toasted marshmallow shake (or cherry blossom if it's in season) is to DIE for. Also Spike's Sunnyside burger is delicious. Highly highly recommend for tourists looking for a dope local find.“

“Our server Devin was AMAZING AND TRULY A GEM! Stuart the manager was also AMAZING AND SO INVITING. I watched everyone around me and every employee including managers were helping each other. “Yes! I love the concept. I love how it’s a hand made patty and the burger was cooked perfectly. In addition, you have an option to add items to your burger if you do the build your burger option. You can also choose their preselected choices which look really good. I chose to add sautéed onions, bacon, and Italian sausage. I will say although the Italian sausage was good, I wouldn’t add it again; it didn’t hurt the burger overall. You choose your seasoning (I chose basic), sauce (house bbq), lettuce and tomato. I also ordered the seasoned fries (garlic parmesan). I was curious so I asked for the spicy ranch. It was pretty good.“

“I walked by several times and saw a sign inviting me to try PLNT Burger for free. So, I ordered the DBL PLNT Cheeseburger to give it a try. After tasting it, I have to say I was really impressed with the flavor— perfectly done! The sauce gave it a nice smoothness. “With new ownership in place, I did not know what to expect. For a ward 8 resident and DC native, we take Sunday morning breakfast serious, and nobody wants to travel to PG, VA or cross the bridge for family breakfast. I have been to that IHOP at least 100 times, so I have seen the good and the bad times. I will say this, there is a noticeable difference in the customer care experience. From the attention to detail of the employees, the cleanliness of the restaurant (especially the bathroom), and the friendly staff, I was wholly impressed. I felt safe and ready to spend my hard earned money. I even tipped the waitress 50% because she deserved it. Hopefully the word gets out that it is a good thing to go to the Alabama Ave IHOP and the new owners keep this level of care for us the customers.“

“I visited on a Wednesday at about noon. No wait at all, and the server was amazing.
The decor has a modern vibe do it while maintaining a laid-back feel. It's located in a very pleasant neighborhood and there's parking easily accessible just a block away.

Emmy Squared Pizza has a very positive reputation for great tasting pizza and while the pizza was great it didn't particularly stand out when you compare it to other above average pizzas.
Finally the price was shockingly low for such a good pizza, drinks, and impeccable service.“

“Our family ate lunch here on a recent trip to the area. We all agreed the burgers were absolutely delicious!! Some of the best we've had. The atmosphere of the restaurant was really neat too, but we did eat outside since it was a beautiful day.“

“We went to the restaurant down at the wharf….. To start, the hostess at the front was on her phone and not really paying any mind to the people walking in the door. Come to find out after that was the floor manager. Then we get sat and none of the workers talk about who is in charge of that section. We did. It get me is or silverware. The very nice bartender comes up, gets us some water and menus gets us started and finally the sever comes over to us. The server took our order and checked on us twice. When the food was brought to the table we still didn’t have silverware and had to ask the food runner. Our server had a a ten top when we arrived and she was checking on her the whole time not paying any mind to the other tables she has. It was to the point I had to go up to someone ask for water refill bc both our glasses were empty. We finish our meals that were very good and no one but the bartenders are on the floor. I see our sever walk over to the restroom, she comes out looks at us and sees that we are sitting doing nothing, then walks over to a new 10 top and disappears. It’s at thing point I now have to walk over to the bartender and get our check and they are the ones that cash us out. Thank you to the bartender that took care of us“

“Bacon double burger: 9/10 The first bite of this burger was full of flavor. I recommend the secret sauce with it. After a car ride home the burger wasn’t much to look at but was great!

About the size of my fist a bit bigger it was a large burger and definitely worth the money for the combo $19 to get the fries and drink included.

4/5 seasoned fries: good but not the star of the show it was crispy and seasoned well.

During lunch I wouldn’t go to this location unless you work in the plaza. Parking was hard to find and $15 for 1 hour if you use the plaza parking.“

The burgers were dry, the wings were the best thing we all agreed on, and the drinks were watered down. My daughter's ordered the lemonade, and it had a funny smell to it. It wasn't busy at all.
