A cool winery and vineyard in the shadow of Catoctin Mountain, ample outdoor seating is a welcome reprieve from the cozier inside seating of the tasting room. The pricing here seems a little inflated, but there is a good quality to the wine and the people are friendly. I had a lovely tasting here the other day with some friends. Not all of the wines were my taste but they were all good quality. I got one bottle to take home because it was some of the best Maryland red I've ever had. It's a small tasting room but cozy with the fireplace and live music. There's outdoor seating and a large fire pit. Apparently there are sometimes smaller firepits to sit around and food trucks on weekends. You can picnic inside which is a bonus!

Stopped on our way to Frederick. What a great find! The wines were all excellent and the service was even better! Morganne and Leah were both friendly and knowledgeable! We really enjoyed having them serve us! Check them out when in the area!!!
