“Stopped here last evening for a cheese steak sub. It's been years since my last visit, which wasn't good, but now under new ownership, all seems well. The place is extremely clean, and the service was friendly. My cheese steak was great! Loaded with steak, fresh tomatoes, lettuce and onions. The roll was fresh and lightly toasted. It was most definitely a full meal. I will return, and I highly recommend giving them a try.....I think you will be highly satisfied.“

“So far, so good. Had the Italian and the Gandolfini. Both delicious. Be nice if you could customize when you order online. I had to call to get the tomatoes taken off my Italian.
The Gandolfini is a roast beef sandwich with "pink" sauce. Still not sure what that is, but it tasted delicious. Had just enough horseradish to be tasty, but not overpowering. Very good!

“Jake's is a staple in that area. The proprietor's are friendly, very well mannered, pleasant to interact with. The food is above average for it's venue....and the Staff are pleasant and attentive to your request and preparation interest and dislikes. One of my GoTo's when I'm in the area.“

“Yall let me tell yall about Linden Deli,this is by far one of the best food carry outs in Baltimore city and im not exaggerating either.Its the Fried Chicken, Western fries, Fried pork chops, all seasoned to perfection ,and lets not forget the Teriyaki Chicken wings ? they can't keep um on the shelf. “First time lunch customer. I got there around 12:45pm and it was quite busy. Still, I got my order pretty quickly. I ordered the smoked turkey Reuben. Sandwich was good. A little on the small side from what I'm used to but still adequate. The staff seemed friendly. There were 3 people ahead of me who must be regulars. The staff knew their orders by heart which I think is cool. Overall, nice place with some good options. I'll be trying some more of them.“

“I have never been in this restaurant but just looked it up on line after ordering here like 4x thru Grub Hub. It's giving Pete's Grill type of food - vibes. It's not Pete's Grill from the looks of it BUT the food I've ordered the last 4x in 2 weeks has been hot and delicious. The Pancakes are perfection - 3 pancakes for 5 or6 bucks is very decent. The grits come buttered and seasoned, the hash browns are grilled and browned. I've ordered from Pete's Grill and Ms Shirley's. Ms Shirley's can be expensive and Pete's gets busy. Golden Star Carry out is my new favorite spot for breakfast.“
