“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 – A MUST-VISIT SPOT!

I honestly don’t even know where to start because this place completely blew me away. You can instantly tell there’s a whole new energy since the new owners took over. Everything from the food to the vibe to the service feels refreshed, upgraded, and done with real passion.

First off, the menu is INSANE in the best way possible. You can tell the new owners came in and said, “Let’s really do this right.” The flavors are bold, fresh, and straight-up addictive. The sliders are absolutely unreal perfectly seasoned, juicy, and packed with flavor in every bite. And don’t even get me started on the beef burger chopped cheese… WOW. It’s hands down one of the best I’ve had. Cooked perfectly, loaded with flavor, and made exactly how a chopped cheese should b comfort food at its finest.

Everything tasted fresh, hot, and made with care. Not rushed. Not sloppy. Just quality food done right.

Now let’s talk about the service because that’s just as important. Sam, the new manager, is AWESOME. Super welcoming, respectful, and genuinely cares about customers. You can tell he takes pride in the place and wants everyone to leave happy. That kind of leadership really shows, and it makes the whole experience even better.

The atmosphere is clean, welcoming, and has a great vibe overall. You feel good supporting a place that actually cares about what they’re serving and the people they’re serving it to.

If you’re thinking about trying this spot DO IT. If you’ve been here before under the old ownership, come back ASAP because this is a whole different level now. New ownership, crazy good new menu items, better quality, better service. everything is upgraded.

“Pretty fast service, nice employees, relatively average pricing for fast food. The only issue with this location is the amount of people running the registers. People usually make a line 30 minutes prior to them opening and the line stretches way too long. I don’t blame them if they can’t seem to find enough people to hire though.“

“​I finally had the chance to check out Urban Hot Chicken, and it definitely lived up to the expectations. If you are looking for a spot that nails both the food and the service, this is it.
​The Service:
Right off the bat, I have to give a shout-out to the staff. The cashier was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made a huge difference. They were patient while I looked over the menu and made the whole experience feel personal.
​The Food (Medium Heat):
I went with the Medium spice level, and it was exactly what I was hoping for. It had a nice, steady heat that built up as I ate but wasn't so overwhelming that I couldn't taste the quality of the chicken.
​The Sandwich: The chicken breast was massive—perfectly breaded and stayed crunchy even with the toppings. The combination of the cool slaw, pickles, and their signature sauce on that toasted bun was very tasty and hit all the right notes.
​The Fries: You can tell they don't skimp on the seasoning here. The fries were golden, crispy, and had a great savory flavor that paired perfectly with the sandwich.
​Overall:
Everything from the presentation (the branding on the box is a nice touch) to the last bite was 10/10. Between the great service and the quality of the food, I’ll definitely be making this a regular stop“

“I used to shout BRD is the best chicken spot in Baltimore from the rooftops any opportunity I could get. Unfortunately, I think something may have changed.

Like other reviews I have seen recently, they very clearly changed up their chicken vendors or something along those lines. The chicken went from being insanely good, to pretty much a frozen Tyson tenderloin or something equivalent to that. I am going on BRD strike until they go back to their old ways.“

“This is hands-down one of my favorite go to places to eat. The portions are always amazing and the food is on point! 💖I usually get the chicken with green beans, or fries ,and I’ve also gotten the steak, when they sold out of chicken. Neither of them ever disappoint!! The food is super consistent and well seasoned. The sauces are both delicious, the green is especially tasty.The service always great, as well. I’m shocked at some of these bad reviews, as someone who has been ordering here several times a week for the past few years. “We stopped here for a late lunch. It was a little crowded, with limited tables. However, people come in and out quickly so we didnt have to wait too long for a table. I loved the empanadas! The Lomo Saltado and the plantain and cheese one were amazing!! The chicken with the yellow sauce was also so good! They were out of yucca by the time we got there so looking forward to trying that next time! Also saw a sign that they serve Ceviche on Saturdays so would love to try that!“

“They were super busy and there were too many people in the dining area. Constantly trying to get out of everyone's way. Even the servers were having trouble delivering food to the tables. Very noisy and we just felt rushed to get done and get away from the chaos. Food is always good, so no complaint there. “I love this restaurant, it’s great, staff is nice, and the environment is kept nice and clean. I highly recommend going for the Big Box, as it serves any burger thee want in it, 2-piece fried chicken, any side dish of thy choice, and lastly comes with a drink. Food will always be fresh, nice, and warm. Chicken is crispy and hot. Their spicy chicken sandwich is great along with the sauce that it has in it is great, has a splendid kick to it. In essence, I highly recommend this restaurant, easy 5-stars.“

“I can always count on good tasting food at Crazy Down Home. I have only been to the Randallstown location. I have had the fried chicken, fried fish, fried liver with gravy, steamed crabs, chitterlings, home fries with onions, fried green beans, collard greens, mixed vegetables, vegetable lo mein, and fried cabbage. My son loves the cheese steak subs.“

“I’ve been to this Pollo Campero location multiple times and have always had a good experience. On my most recent visit, I ordered the 2-piece meal with yuca fries. The food was fresh and made to order, which I could tell because it took a few minutes to come out. We dined in, and the staff brought the food directly to our table. The chicken was hot and fresh, the yuca fries were great, and the staff was friendly throughout the visit. Overall, it’s a reliable spot that I keep coming back to, and I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a good meal.“

“Fast food is not what it used to be( Little Tavern from years ago come to mind). Chick- fil- A is the King of the mountain in reference to quality of food, service & how they train their young associates. The essence of this keeps regulars returning time after time. It makes me feel good when the young associate looks me in the eye, smiles & later tells me it was their pleasure to serve me. It means a lot to go to a counter & not just get stared at like you the customer shld just start talking without being addressed. I appreciate CFA's service principle.“
