“Stopped here last evening for a cheese steak sub. It's been years since my last visit, which wasn't good, but now under new ownership, all seems well. The place is extremely clean, and the service was friendly. My cheese steak was great! Loaded with steak, fresh tomatoes, lettuce and onions. The roll was fresh and lightly toasted. It was most definitely a full meal. I will return, and I highly recommend giving them a try.....I think you will be highly satisfied.“

“Everything is fantastic! From breakfast sandwiches (and plates) to lunch specials. The food tastes great, you are usually in and out very quickly, and they have fantastic memories and will greet you by name. “So far, so good. Had the Italian and the Gandolfini. Both delicious. Be nice if you could customize when you order online. I had to call to get the tomatoes taken off my Italian.
The Gandolfini is a roast beef sandwich with "pink" sauce. Still not sure what that is, but it tasted delicious. Had just enough horseradish to be tasty, but not overpowering. Very good!

“The ladies that run this Deli/Convenience store are so sweet. If you're a regular and are a little short they let you bring it back. It's really hands down one of the cleanest Delis around here. “Jake's is a staple in that area. The proprietor's are friendly, very well mannered, pleasant to interact with. The food is above average for it's venue....and the Staff are pleasant and attentive to your request and preparation interest and dislikes. One of my GoTo's when I'm in the area.“

There will be a line waiting, while they are on the grill, and they will actually answer the phone and take new orders before addressing persons in the line and then return back to the grill. “I have never been in this restaurant but just looked it up on line after ordering here like 4x thru Grub Hub. It's giving Pete's Grill type of food - vibes. It's not Pete's Grill from the looks of it BUT the food I've ordered the last 4x in 2 weeks has been hot and delicious. The Pancakes are perfection - 3 pancakes for 5 or6 bucks is very decent. The grits come buttered and seasoned, the hash browns are grilled and browned. I've ordered from Pete's Grill and Ms Shirley's. Ms Shirley's can be expensive and Pete's gets busy. Golden Star Carry out is my new favorite spot for breakfast.“
