“Food always hot and fresh!“

“Brooklyn born here n have had it all. The Halal guys, Adels plus countless more. When I heard about this place I couldnt wait. Heres my review. 8.7/10. The rice oh wow the rice is a 10, amazing flavor. The chicken is a 10! very flavorful and fresh. The beef/lamb is a 7.9 at best. Which was dissapointing. As this part is my favorite. Its typical pre made gyro and that leaves you wanting the real thing. It was fresh and cooked well. My shwarma scale is tough, Ive had the best. All over. I added pita and it was delicious and warm. The sauces are very good too but a little watery. Overall Im happy, filled and Impressed. I got a L coke, added Pita and it was only $16. Perfect. They will get even better. Go support them. You will be happy.“

“I was very impressed with the food quality. The hummus tasted made from scratch, the pita bread seemed freshly baked, if not in -house then maybe from some local bakery. Lamb kabob was tender, and even the plain white rice was flavored well. The lentil soup came with freshly fried pita chips which added a rich depth of flavor. One thing I'd recommend is to offer a half rice/half salad option for the kabobs and other platters.“

“Best food in Towson hands down! I drive Uber in the area and this is where I stop almost 2-4 times a week for the chicken cheesesteak. Tried a few other things on the menu and everything was great, but the chicken cheesesteak is just too good!! Great owners also, I don't even like a customer when I go, I feel like family.“

“I celebrated my daughter's 16th birthday. It was a beautiful experience and budget friendly. The food was great and customer service was very good. The ambience was nice and the music was not loud. “Costiera is small, inviting, and absolutely worth a visit. From the moment we arrived, the service stood out as impeccable. The staff was attentive without ever hovering, quick with suggestions, and made us feel genuinely taken care of.

When we walked in, there were two tables available right away, but they asked if we’d mind waiting just a minute so they could seat us at a much better window table. That kind of thoughtfulness goes a long way these days, and we really appreciated it. Our server checked in often, was kind, and gave fantastic recommendations that made us feel like we ordered the very best of the menu.

The food was excellent across the board. The pasta was perfectly cooked and tasted even better than it looked. The octopus was a standout dish—tender, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Everything we tried was balanced, well-executed, and memorable.

All in all, we had a flawless experience here. Costiera delivers on service, food, and atmosphere. Highly recommend, especially if you’re looking for something a little different done really well.“

“We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Ouzo Bay. The swordfish was among the best I have ever had -- well seasoned and moist, not overcooked. My husband had the lamb shank and it melted in your mouth. They could have added some additions to the dish, however. The baklava was a nice end to the meal, but it wasn't the layered variety that is traditional. With two drinks, the bill adds up quickly. There is also a 3-4% service charge (not explained).“

Baltimore seafood never disappoints, and Jimmy's definitely held it down on that end. Now for the real talk: the vibe when I first walked in? Off. The hostess straight-up left me standing there after I checked in — no “we'll seat you soon,” no “we're waiting on your party,” nothing. Just silence and attitude. When I asked what was going on, she finally says, “Oh, we don't seat until your whole party's here.” Cool. I get policies. But communication and tone cost zero dollars. Once I got past that energy, the food and overall atmosphere made up for it. Lively crowd, good music, and delicious food. Bottom line: Jimmy's, your food is A1 — but please put some warmth and professionalism up front. The hostess is the face of the experience, and that first impression matters. Don't let bad energy block good seafood.“

“We were a large group that came in from out of state for the Goya tournament held at St Nicholas. The food was delicious, authentic Greek, and the portions were huge. We are thankful to the owners who accommodated our large group. If you want a cozy Greek restaurant with great Greek food you definitely want to try this place out! “Good news, bad news. The croquettes and tuna tartar were delicious. The olives and octopus were okay. The paella was terrible. The menu lists all these ingredients that were clearly not included. The chicken breast on top was hammered. The dish was very oily and there was no socorrat which is the quintessential paella characteristic. I'm sure it's not easy to train staff how to do this well so take it off the menu until you get it right.“

I had to go to a restaurant that had halal food, which was about 40 minutes away from the beautiful restaurant. I had to go, I finally got there. The food they served me was delicious, but. Gentleman in the suit at the host stand with the grimace, was a little off putting but Bong reined it in with genuine hospitality. Tasted a chilled ouzo for the first time and it brought me back to my first black jellybean. The galaktoboureko dessert, I would love to try freshly made as this one was reheated so the custard broke and the pastry was soggy. Baklava was sweet, flaky and served with ice cream. “My wife and I decided at the last minute to go out on a Saturday evening and we picked Marie Louise Bistro for dinner. We sat outside and had a genuinely wonderful meal! While you often see the same staff there for years, our server this time was young and new to the industry. Despite that, you could tell she had received training from the other staff, and she did a fantastic job. A very good sign! She had another waiter show her how to open and pour the wine, but aside from that we’d have barely known she was new to the job. As for the food, it was excellent. I’d give 9 or 10 out of 10 for everything and my wife enjoyed her meal too. I had a 3-course that included a surf and turf special, and my wife had duck confit. It’s incredibly reasonably priced for the quality of food IMO. A gem of a restaurant! If any of you reading this have never been then I’d definitely recommend a visit!“
