Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

I came here 1/21/26 around 5:45pm. I tried to pay for two people using cash, female cashier stated she could not break $100. I was paying for 2 people plus drinks. She didn’t even attempt to ask a manager if they could change the bill she only looked at me with dear in the headlights look, so I just walked out. I had to drive all the way to Largo, MD to another Golden Corral, who by the way were able to break my $100. I would have gladly went to another restaurant if my husband wasn’t so adamant about eating at a buffet. I personally will not be coming back, HUGE inconvenience.

I was looking for a place that I could bring my family after my father’s burial service. My dad loved Golden Corral so I called Golden Corral in Waldorf and spoke to the manager Cindy. She was absolutely amazing! So professional and sweet. She reserved a room for us and everything was ready when we arrived that day. She checked in on us throughout the dinner and offered her condolences. This woman is one of the best people I have ever encountered in the restaurant industry.

Overall a positive experience. I came here to catch up with a friend. Food was good, mostly needed salt and pepper which are provided on each table. Service once you get to your seat was good. Our waitress was very attentive. And the atmosphere was overall great, the downfall for this is that is was breakfast time, they had been open for over an hour, but was not crowded and somehow, there was a short line at the door of 3 people, but it took us 7-10 minutes to enter and eat due to inefficiency of ringing people up between pickups and dining in. I think they were using 1 register for both, however, dining in had to wait because the pickup counter person kept providing the main person tickets to check people out before checking us in. I am not sure how long the pick up individuals were waiting, but with them being open for an hour and dine in didnt seem as busy, you'd think you would be in to sit within 2-5 minutes. Also, it seemed that the manager was struggling to balance both. Definitely had a vibrant personality, but a bit chatty resulting in our wait and a few mess ups such as forgetting to give someone their change. I would visit again in hopes of there being a different cashier 😅
