Rock & Toss Crab House - Waldorf

I placed an online order that was supposed to be ready in 20 minutes of my placing the order. I arrived in less than 20 minutes. No one was at the reception/host/cashier stand. However, i could see that my order was ready early. How I wish I would’ve fought the urge to patronize Rock N Toss. The broccoli was extremely salty, and the crab legs were mushy at best. This has happened one too many times. I’m done!

Drove all over Maryland trying to find a crab house to take my dad to and all had too long of wait times. Stumbled across here and had no wait time, and closed late. Service was fantastic and the waitress went out of her way to accommodate us and answer our questions, and threw in some broccoli free of charge for me in my RT Special Noodles because that's how she personally enjoyed them. And for $10 I was stuffed and had leftovers for days, and all was delicious of course

Food was good. We had a very nice time trying different types of sauces with our seafood.

Basically I Love Coming Here , But After My Recent Experience With Food Poisoning I’m Done, My Boil Bag Came Out Literally 5 Mins After I Sat Down So I Kinda Knew Something Was Off. My Advice Please Handle All Seafood Carefully & Clean Properly. Food Poisoning Is No Joke

Was here tonight June 12, 2026. This use to be me and my husband spot. But I must say NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN! The service was so horrible. The gentleman that serve us never came to ask did we need anything and then when the manager had to go get him he was arrogant. The food had no sauce and when I asked about it they brought it and had no favor. It started raining the ceiling was leaking and they didn't offer to move us. Address these issues with the manager she want to act so damn clueless. About no one complain today about no flavor. I see exactly why no one was barely in there the last time we came and tonight. Good serve is a must. We will never return here again.

It was my birthday and me & my wife ate seafood boils. They were decent but not as flavorful as most. It wasn’t nasty at all I finished mine and I don’t eat seafood like that. The waiter was very nice and was a blast for my birthday!

The crab legs were delicious. I didn't care for the shrimp and to potatoes were super soft and mushy. This was my first time going here. We live about 5 minutes away and choose to carry out. The food is also expensive.

This place serves the right amount. I'm full and satisfied with a nice portion to take home. I'm be driving past lots of places to return.

Sooooooooo this was a complete bust. The menu is misleading. Ordered lobster tails because the menu said the boil bag will come with 2-3 tails. Failed to mention the tails are cut in 1/2. The rocking bomb sauce was NOT good. My blood pressure can’t handle the salt. This place saves a ton on their water bill. Everything is disposable…even the food. The highlight was the service. Our server was polite. The atmosphere leaves a LOT to be desired. Folks don’t know how to not talk on the phone without the speaker on. We aren’t coming back here. Period.

I was visiting this spot for the first time on a Sat (yesterday) at its busiest time and they had short staff issues. They did an amazing 👏 job!!! The drinks were amazing, the food was amazing and the customer service despite being short staff was impeccable 👌 Spot On! And they even had to deal with an unruly customer that came in and complained about food she didn't even touch. They also handled that situation the best way they could. I will be back because this was hands down the best crab place I been too in Southern MD thus far!! Im a fan!!

Apparently they don’t have enough staff. The bartender had to make drinks and serve tables, which resulted in the slow service I received at the bar. I ordered a drink, which tasted artificial. I also ordered a to go food order. My gosh on today, it tasted like they dumped a full container of salt in the bag. I will likely have to take an extra blood pressure pill as compensation.

I’m beyond disappointed. Perhaps I’m done with this spot.

Had lunch here. It was good! Scallops were cooked very well, the catfish was pretty well seasoned, and the sides were actually needed.

When I got the cole slaw, I initially showed away from it, but the vinegar-based cole slaw is needed to cut through the grease. Not that the food is overly greasy, but everything is either slathered in butter sauces or fried. Steamed rice also helps if you want a slight feeling of trying to be healthy.

Service could be a bit better. Just check up on us every 10 minutes instead of the initial order and food delivery please.

Overall, great, greasy flavor and almost great service.
