The food was delicious. Owner was very friendly and service was great.

Do not judge a book by its cover! Small family operation it seems and by god, their chicken is genuinely delicious. I got 3 pieces of dark and the skin was super crispy and had a nice seasoning on it. I enjoyed the fries because they were old bay seasoned out the gate which is true Maryland stuff. Go check it out!

Best chicken in town. Best staff feels like home

Terrible experience! Very disappointing! We arrived on a Tuesday evening to find the parking lot empty, which should have been our first warning sign. We nearly thought the place was closed. However, the staff greeted us warmly, and we ordered chicken gyro, tenders, and wings. The wait wasn't long, likely because we were the only customers. But when the food arrived, everything went downhill. The chicken wings were unbearably tiny and looked shriveled, the fries were old, over-salted, and dry, and even frozen tenders from the grocery store would have been better than what we received. The gyro was just as unappealing. With my first bite of the wings, I was hit by a strong rotten smell. I didn't want to mention it in front of my spouse, so I quietly informed the host/server who seemed unsurprised, offering just a blank stare and a shrug. Nothing around here is remotely 'famous,' and the only thing worth the money is the canned or bottled drink.

Ordered the 2 piece chicken dinner with large portion of fries with old Bay. Chicken breast was great

The best fried chicken I have found in Frederick County. It is made to order (no sitting under heat lamps for hours!), and it is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Always hot and always delicious. The owner is so kind and, while the atmosphere isn't fancy, it is a nice place to sit and enjoy your hot meal.

There cheese burgers are amazing. All of the food is!

The service was great and the atmosphere is like a little pizza shop. I got the Cheese Steak and Fries. Both were delicious and I will be ordering from here again when I'm in the area working.

I grew up over in Amber Meadows in the 90s and Chicken Basket was one of my most favorite places to go. Me and my friends would go almost every day after school. I had friends tell me Louie's reminded them of that. I must say I see why. I got the chicken tenders and fries with the bbq sauce and It didn't disappoint. I always take pics with my reviews but I scarfed it down so fast I forgot to on this one. The tenders were great and went well with the steak fries. My brother got the steak and cheese and fries and yesssssss he loved it. The person at the counters name was Samir (hope I didn't mess up the spelling too bad) but he took very good care of us.

Won’t ever go back. Small pieces , over cooked and over priced. Was terribly disappointed

Had a three piece white chicken very disappointed was 2 very small wings and the smallest breast I've ever seen pretty skimpy definitely not worth the trip or money
