Weak tea. Inauthentic scones and clotted cream. Paltry amount of food for the price. No trifle or tea sandwiches with crust removed. Quiche was the size of a thimble.

This is one of our favorite places and things to do. It is a great way to treat yourself to tea. The food and treats are really good and if you have the Royal Tea, you leave stuffed.

I loved the October theme. Everything was delicious. They cater well to gluten free needs.

The Kate Pearl Tea Room is my FAVORITE place in Westminster. I am a passionate tea drinker, a teacup collector, and a huge fan of all things dainty, elegant, and old fashioned so everything from the wallpaper to the charming old house architecture is a delight. The teas are the best teas I’ve ever had anywhere and are so perfectly balanced with delicate but rich flavors. I went once with my mom last year at Christmas and once with my husband for my birthday and both times were simply delightful. The customer service has always been top notch, the food is delicious and also adorable, and again, the teas are brewed to perfection. My husband and I stop in occasionally just to pick up scones as well since their scones are fresh and fluffy and always have the most delicious flavors. It is very hard not to buy every tea and scone possible whenever we go! I don’t know what all the reviews trashing on the customer service and food quality are talking about - again, I’ve been many, many times and have never ever had even a slightly underwhelming experience.

I absolutely adore this tea room! My mother and I frequently visit. The staff is very sweet and explains each menu for that day and always different. The little sandwiches are so flavorful and pretty and the variety of teas they carry is wonderful. Royal tea is the way to go. They give you a scone, charcuterie board, soup, salad, specialty drink, along with your tier of sandwiches ,savories, and sweets and to top it off a small icecream or sorbet at the end with a chocolate pearl. I absolutely love this place and my mom says its our thing now 🤗

This tearoom what a tearoom should look like. Historic and vintage. But the vibe wasn’t there for me. I was seated, and it took entirely too long for my order to be taken. The waiter couldn’t really explain the seasonal teas being offered. The chair I was sitting on was extremely uncomfortable and having to wait just made it worse for my lower back. The food was good. When the scones came out, there was no lemon curd or jam to go with it. I guess I should’ve requested however, I really thought that was the norm to automatically be offered. There’s a pace between courses but since it took so long, I lost interest. There is a lovely gift shop located upstairs. I’ve driven an hour and half to dine here, just to leave in utter disappointment. I’m always willing to try this place again, but until then, this review remains.

Kate Pearl Tearoom is (hands down) one of the nicest we have ever been to. The food was outstanding ; best peach scone and sandwiches ever! Our waiter, Jonah, was so kind and efficient. He really made our visit even more enjoyable. We will return again very soon

I took my niece for her first afternoon tea experience and she quite enjoyed it. The staff was incredibly friendly. The ambience was very relaxing. There is a nice variety of tea to choose from, which also includes seasonal offerings. The food was quite nice. This was her first time having a scone, which she proclaimed to be “fire”. The strawberry scone was something new for me and was excellent with the clotted cream. Our server was very friendly and attentive without being too much. There was nothing rushed. I expect we will be back, perhaps in the fall to see what they have for the season.

Still in aww of how cute this place is. My friend and I traveled to the Kate Pearl Tea room for the first time today and had the best time. We were greeted by the hostesses who seated us at a nice corner table. We arrived right on time for our reservation. We were later greeted by Ty Jenkins who made our time very special. He was super nice, friendly and had a wonderful personality. He provided an overview of the tea menu, offered great recommendations and shared that we were in for a treat. Ty was right. This afternoon tea was an experience. From scones, soup, salad and an assortment of sandwiches and sweets, we were so impressed. We enjoyed the Royal Tea experience and it did not disappoint. We can’t wait to come back. The reservation process was easy and smooth. I made a reservation online and received a call the next business day. The reservation staff were incredibly helpful and super nice. Just talking to the nice woman over the phone, she got me even more excited to come for tea. Reservations are highly encouraged! Ample parking and the tea room is in a lovely neighborhood.

Wonderful.

I received a very rude phone call demanding I confirm my reservation even though it had already been confirmed. I do not keep reservations at establishments that do not treat their patrons with respect.

Really a friendly Tea Room with a large assortment of teas and excellent scones. Any selection of a tea is served with the best atmosphere by attentive servers. The accompanying food preparation is beautifully crafted and always a joy to eat.

We came the weekend after Mother's Day and got to try their Mother's Day tea. It was really nice that they offered four types of teas, mostly fruit based and two were caffeinated and two were not. You were encouraged to switch between the flavors vs stay with the same type of tea.

This was the first afternoon tea where received a fruit and cheese board, salad, chilled fruit-yogurt soup before receiving the warm, lovely scone and the three tiers of sandwiches and sweets. Many of the sandwiches had some fruit like a slice of strawberry or peach in addition to the meat for spread. The tea china and presentation were wonderful as was our waitress. I thought it was a great value for the price.

There was one bathroom on the level. Parking was around the corner or we parked farther down the street.
