“I couldn't recommend this place more! My friend and I were looking for a great new place for our Sunday adventure and tried our luck here because of the name, Serpent Ridge. We met for a casual wine tasting with cheese & crackers, and oh, my gosh, we were NOT disappointed! Every wine we tried was delightful and every person we met was even more so! We will most definitely be back soon to try the next small batch and bring home more of our favorites. Thank you!“

“Had a few friends in from out of town and I recommended we try something different. Made a reservation with Old Westminster Winery and we were very pleasantly surprised. It is a "hidden gem" of Carroll County! Staff was very nice, cozy-laid back atmosphere, food was delicious. Jacob is the Manager and very hospitable and making sure everyone was pleased. I would highly recommend visiting!!“

“Elk Run is a great place to visit, and if you’re interested in commercial winemaking, a tour from Jack himself will be one of the most transparent and thorough you will get at any estate on the planet (not an exaggeration - experience for yourself); he’s not showing off the chateau (although there are some interesting stories), you’re seeing in candid detail how the product is created, and yes the canine escort is a warm plus. The whites here are a much better value than down the road (and that is no knock on the quality 5 minutes away; their white blends are delights).“
