“Delicious bruschetta! I can’t wait to go back and try some of the other variations. The wine was also very good. I prefer whites and they were perfect for a hot summer day.

“My partner and I visited this cidery during our stay at a bed and breakfast nearby. We really enjoyed the cider flight and wine flight! The mulled cider wine was a nice touch! This place can be tricky to get to if you plan on using an Uber or Lyft. The workers were so kind. One of the workers helped us get to the brewery nearby and back to our bed and breakfast because Lyft rides were so hard to get to. This is definitely worth a visit!“

“This is yet another winner in Loudoun County. It's so great to have so many options for wineries in Loudoun - no matter what section of the county you're driving around in, you will likely be very close to a great winery. This location is not far from Casanel and Willowcroft Wineries, two other favorites of mine. They offer a white flight or a red flight, and you can also mix and match in the flight. I had the white - the weather was perfect for it. Vidal Blanc and Petit Manseng were not as sweet as others I have tried in these varietals and the white flight included their rosé, done exactly how I like it (DRY). They also still do counter tastings, which is a big plus these days.
There are three creeks that wind through this property. You cross over one to enter their location, and the other two are in the picnic area. A nice selection of picnic tables and spots on the back patio to choose from. Some of the picnic tables are next to the creeks. And this is a "21 and over only" spot - sometimes you want to be, and need to be, away from kids. There are plenty of family friendly options in the county (and state). So it's great to have a few adults only locations now.
Definitely worth a stop on your next winery "daycation."“

“I visited Cassanel for the first time in December 2022 it was the last of 4 wineries I visited that day. Long overdue review shame on me. Some friends and myself like going to different wineries every time we have a chance and I honestly been coming back to Cassanel more than any other winery I thought I liked before. Let's begin with the staff, the amazing people who works here always welcome everyone with an amazing smile and warmth atmosphere. Theresa was the first person I meet and she is beyond amazing. Such a beautiful human being. Never been a wine person because always end up with that one wine super dry and strong flavor that I couldn't drink. The have not one wine that I can say I didn't like....but do have my favorites José Rosé and Dolce 😍😍 Yesterday (June 26, 2023) had the opportunity to meet Mr. José who's been with them for over 12 years and takes amazing care of the grapes, then got to meet Mr. Nelson (the owner) he is a wonderfu man and full fo good vibes. We had a wonderful conversation full laugh and now I understand why this winery is so amazing. 100% recommend, wines are delicious and affordable.“

“My group of 24 called this vineyard last minute to salvage a horrible experience we just had at Stone Tower. They accepted us with open arms. Smiles and such hospitality. The wine was good and the views were nice and relaxing. We ordered a good amount of food and everything we had tasted yummy. I will be returning and recommending to others. Great customer service goes a long way. They really knew a lot about the wines and made sure we all had a great experience.“
“You cannot beat the view at Stone Tower Winery. I photographed a wedding this August at this venue and it felt like I was transported to the Tuscany countryside.
The staff was a breeze to work with. They were professional and were very helpful anytime I had questions or needed a golf cart ride to the other side of the property.
The hall is decorated in such a way that you can really do any color scheme or style in that room. It is neutral enough while also feeling modern and warm.
If you're looking for the best winery to get married at then look no further. Stone Tower is the place.“

“Great and beautiful location for family parties. Super Wine treat. Deal for the parties up to 150 people, it is great. Good for wedding, Engagement, Birthday and many other parties. They allow to arrange food from outside as part of the party. Plenty of parking spaces. Great service. We miss non alcohol beverages like coke ,etc. As unexpectedly hot temperature that day, AC is not sufficient to accommodate all the people. But Overall good“

They went above and beyond many times to help us with whatever we needed before, during, and after our wedding weekend welcome party. “Took ourselves on a afternoon wine tour in Purcellville, VA while staying in Harper's Ferry and wish we started here and stayed here. Kacey and Carolyn were amazing hosts. The white pear cinnamon sangria is so good. Michelle Portenier the DJ for Karaoke was amazing and very personalble. Not to mention it is an everyone is accepted establishedment. LGBTQ+ ?️? The environment is wonderful and positive.“
“First visit today. Lovely venue. Nice wine and food. Kids and pets…witnessed a couple with 3 dogs who had no control over them. One pet fight with another dog guest. Then witnessed a small child having her hand bitten by one of the dogs. I hope the owners of the winery have sufficient insurance to allow anyone…especially children and babies, and dogs to enjoy the venue. Great to be family and pet friendly…but is that a wise business decision? Not sure that alcohol, children and pets are a wise and safe business practice…what happened to baby and pet sitters for an afternoon out?“

“Highly recommend! I am a huge cider fan so when I saw a new cidery opened in the area I wanted to try it out. They have only been opened for about a month so I hope the word of this place continues to grow. They have some nice indoor seating and also some tables outside with umbrellas, lawn chairs, and corn hole boards. The ciders were all delicious. I bought a few bottles to take home with me as well. I can’t wait to come back one day and try the sangria flight. I stuck to the cider flight and glasses this time, but I’m excited to go back to try more. The gentleman who helped us out was very nice and shared all about the place and their ciders. You are able to buy flights, ciders by the glass, or a bottle to share on site. 10/10 recommend you try this place and their ciders!“
“Summer Concert series is the best - we just spend a great Saturday evening with Goovelicious ( 80's Disco, high energy music) playing 3 sets and enjoyed their wines and locally brewed beers as well as a selection of food trucks. Highly recommend the summer concerts - to go along with your wine tasting“
“We like visiting vineyards in the area and this one of my favorite ones. I like the relax atmosphere with a friendly staff in a beautiful setting. They have tables inside and outside. Most of their wines are fairly medium, which go perfect with the whole vibe. They serve food items, such as flatbreads. There's also plenty of parking and the winery is wheelchair accessible, but there's a little bit of a walk uphill to get to the entrance.“

“Very cozy winery set in a relaxing rural setting. This is the ‘Goldilocks’ winery in VA; not too big, not too small, but just right. Wines were very good, the reds were superior with a winemaker that understands to let reds age before releasing them. Matt was our server and he was great. Highly recommended for a classic Old Dominion vineyard experience.“

I have had some truly awful experiences here-- but also some absolutely superb ones.I have kept the membership for over a year and have been pleased with the new releases over the last year.“
“Nice vineyard, plenty of tables and selection of wines. The place was nice, but minus one star for the wines. The best one we had was Chere Marie. Had two different flights and we enjoy the Chere Marie white wine which is similar to Reislings. It has live singer too, overall a fun day with awesome weather.“

“Small family owned winery with amazing wines! Our group did a tasting and I most enjoyed their sparkling Chardonnay, merlot, and barouche red. We met Mike the winemaker and he along with his staff were all very welcoming. We’ll be back to visit in the fall!“
