My friend and I spent several hours here this Sunday afternoon, to unwind from the week. The blond-wood winery / tasting room is beautiful and calming, and the wine is delicious (especially the Petit Verdot). Lisa Michelle and Eddie were warm, hospitable, and down to earth from the moment we arrived. Droumavalla Farms Winery is a gorgeous and magnificent place, a fantastic gem off the beaten path with amazing views and beautiful Loudoun County as the backdrop. The ambiance inside is perfection and the overall ease of use makes it a lovely space to enjoy. The winery offers excellent and delicious wines, with great pours during an amazing wine tasting. Specific wines include a perfect Petit Manseng, an absolute favorite called the Lisa Michelle, a smooth as butter Petit Verdot, a fantastic rosé, a smooth porch pounder named Lauren, and an amazing champagne option. They also offer a draft IPA.
The staff provides amazing customer service, being super friendly, beyond kind, and a pleasure. They are kid-friendly and dog-friendly. The venue has a back room that is a perfect size for hosting events like a birthday party or graduation celebration for 15-20 people, with plenty of space for food and snacks and games available. It is a beautiful establishment with great plans, making it a place to frequent and highly recommend for a gorgeous day.
