The food was excellent…the service was outstanding
it's been quite some time since I sat down in a sit-down restaurant and I've been going to Ruan Thai for years. I'm never disappointed the service is outstanding the waiter is very attentive the food always has a great presentation. and is delicious and I sit there and roll my eyes with every bite.
Always delicious. Fairly priced. Love it. Been coming here for most of my life— simply the best Thai food in the DMV.

Ruan Thai Restaurant is a cozy neighborhood spot offering consistently delicious and authentic Thai food. The menu features favorites like pad sa ew, pad Thai, and green chicken curry, which is a huge success every time. The spring rolls and yum beau yang are must-tries, with the tangy dressing standing out. Portions are generous, and dishes like panang curry and chicken yellow curry are served hot and fresh. Their curries and sticky rice are out of this world. The restaurant's clean and pleasant dining area has a little bit of a dining hall feel, and the friendly and quick staff keeps customers happy. Known as the number one Thai restaurant in Montgomery County, Ruan Thai is a reliable choice for flavorful meals at reasonable prices and never disappoints.
