“Such a nice place in an adorable little corner in Georgetown DC. Everyone already knows how awesome Afghan food is and this is just another spot with mouth watering Afghan cuisine and bunch of other modern type of things from sandwiches and more on their menu. They even have Mantu! The Afghan Dumplings with meat sauce over it. I had the lamb chops entree! 4 PIECES! Awesome!“

“I enjoyed the green zone, it had me flying high. Flying high when I tried their coffee drink. There was so much in it I don’t even know what to call it, but look at the picture, it looks delicious. “Best quality dining option in all of Stamp. As a commuter who has very limited meal options during the day, I've bounced around all of the food options in this student union. Chick-fil-A was my favorite for a while but then got fed up with all the greasiness. Then all of a sudden I find myself being best pals with the manager 'Angel' who is a literal angel blessing me with meals that just make my day better. All of the employees are friendly and prior to meeting the manager, my meals were plain and dry so I asked him if he could make me something good and he definitely came through. I go there pretty much every time I eat at Stamp now, so if your excuse is that you don't know what to get just ask Angel. Or just ask for the Angel special and they will get you right what he makes me. I've yet to get tired of this place because the food is so fresh unlike what can be argued for the other dining options there. Give it a try.“

“I am a total hummus snob. You can ask my friends. I only eat hummus from restaurants because they seem to be the only ones that can make it right and with the consistency that is smooth and a little thinner. Every store bought hummus I have tried has been a thick paste and it doesn’t even feel like hummus. Until now. I am a total convert and very excited. Consistency is everything in hummus and Little Sesame has figured out how to do it and put it into a container that is sold at a store. Kudos. I love it.“

“I loved my experience here and I was so surprised it was relatively empty on a Friday night. My brothers fiance kicked off her bachelorette weekend here with a party of maybe 16-18 people and a three course family style meal. The service was AMAZING. Everyone was super kind and friendly and quick to remove our plates, refill our waters and make sure we were good. At the end they kindly took a group picture of us. We had a lot of dietary restrictions and they made sure to coordinate who can eat what dishes. On Friday and Saturday nights there are belly dancer performances and wow our performer was so beautiful, talented and fun. I would definitely come back and I would love to try different Lebanese dishes. Thank you for having us!“

“I'll be honest, I'm a California food snob. I've struggled to find affordable, consistently delicious food in DC and miss spaces that are clearly family owned where the food is made with love. I have found that at Green Almond Pantry.

My partner and I have made a routine of going every weekend and every single thing we have tried has been fantastic. I remembered to take a picture of the foccacia after I had already quickly inhaled half. The breakfast sandwiches were to die for. Each frittata has been mouth watering. I'll try and remember to take some photos next time I go.

Not the quickest option as they carefully heat and create each dish, but you can grab a coffee or boba from the spot next door while you wait.“

“We recently got a large catering order and we’re so happy with everything. My order was ready upon arrival, the order was packaged nicely serving and eating utensils were included. The friendly staff helped me load the car. Once we got the food home it was at least 30 minutes before I put it out to serve and it stayed nice and hot. We got the 80-100 person package and we were very pleased with the generous portions. We had aprox 100 guests they all said how good the food was and they were plenty of leftovers. So much so that we sent several guests home with large care bags and still had more. It was a good experience and I would highly recommend.“

“Leb Tav is a gem! The chicken shawarma pita was bursting with flavor, the beef shawarma was tender and perfectly spiced, and the falafel was crispy outside, soft inside—absolutely delicious. The seasoned French fries were a great side, and their sauces bar is a highlight, offering a rich variety of bold, fresh flavors to customize every bite. “I was really impressed with the options at this spot. Everything is priced between $3-8 dollars. The zatar fries are phenomenal and a very generous portion (about 3 times what my photo shows), the falafel is fresh and crispy, and the vegan shwarma is filling and full of flavor. The Pali salad was just ok. Very fresh, but not a ton of flavor. I got take-out so there's always the chance that something will go wrong. Everything I ordered comes with two sauces, except the salad. None of the sauces were included in my order, unfortunately. Still very happy to support a Palestinian restaurant that is doing good work to support the refugee community and as allows customers to be a part of that. Free Palestine. ??“

“Lebanese Taverna saved the day! They created a wonderful menu for my event of 250 people with only a week’s notice after the original caterer canceled. On the day of the event, they were on time and provided delicious food. Amanda, the catering representative I worked with, even took my call after the food had been delivered and offered to be available to answer any questions about allergens or ingredients. LT also provided placards for each dish that included ingredients so folks with dietary restrictions or allergies were able to enjoy the meal without worry. Would highly recommend LT to cater your event - even if you’re not sure what you’d want from their great menu!“

“I went there today for a nice lunch date and I requested to get all the food gluten free. They were very helpful and knowledgeable about what was gluten free on the menu and made sure to bring out the salads and explain which one was which. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend the pargiyot skewer but was not personally a fan of the lam kebab flavor. When the waiter came over and asked how everything was, I told him everything was great. He saw I had not eaten the lamb and asked me about it. Im not a complainer so I said it just wasn’t my taste. Well, when we brought us the check, he only charged us for the pargiyot and comped the lamb! I am blown away by my experience at Al Ha’esh. Excellent customer service and food! 👍“

“As much as I love the local staples like Ledos, Stained Glass, etc... this is hands down my favorite pizza spot in Mo Co and probably the DMV. It also has the best cheesesteak in Bethesda for sure, despite the claims of Peter's Carryout a few blocks over. I've tried other sandwiches here and they're all very good, but for the past couple years I've religiously stuck to either my steak and cheese + fries or a large double pepperoni.

After talking with the owner, he credits the halal ingredients for the taste which serves my pork restriction perfectly. To get an idea of it, I would say the pizza is like a much higher quality version Pizza Boli's style if that makes sense. There was a time that the pizza was slightly overdone and it was STILL pretty delicious.

My second favorite pizza place in the area is coincidentally around the corner. M & N's, another phenomenal halal spot. But they're a bit more expensive and their sandwiches are nowhere near as good as Aden. Out of the dozen restaurants focusing on pizza in downtown Bethesda, these two are the kings in my opinion.
