making waitstaff pay for mistakes out of their pocket is unethical and ILLEGAL.
My wife and I stopped in on Tuesday night for their lobster special. We arrived at 7:12pm and were seated after we got someone’s attention. We placed our order for the lobster, and an oysters Rockefeller appetizer. After wait for over 20 minutes the waitress informed us that the kitchen had shut down the steamer at 7:30, and they were not doing our lobster special after we had been sitting there for almost 30 minutes. On July 25th I ordered 1 doz. Large Steamed Crabs ($95) from Madonna Seafood. Madonna "used" to be the best place for crabs. They were always consistently seasoned well....that was not the case yesterday. This dozen was completely dried out...they were either VERY overcooked or my guess is they were re-cooked. Definitely not worth $95....please retrain your steaming team or you will lose business. i will be going elsewhere.
