“Absolutely amazing. I can't wait to come back and try some of the other menu items. I went out of my comfort zone and had the pate en croute and was pleasantly surprised. Everyone's dishes were well received.Dietary restrictions: I included a known food allergy in our group while making reservations and our waiter, Michael, made excellent suggestions and followed up with the kitchen staff to make sure there weren't any problems.”
“I visited this location of Mission BBQ today, and was greeted with wonderful service. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very kind. Larkin was especially personable and very helpful! He came by multiple times to check on our, rather large, party. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience. Larkin provided 5 star service and I would highly recommend visiting!”
“My wife and I dine here often always pleasant servers food is always delicious when there is a problem with the food they always take care of the problem with kindness and ”
“This is my first time stopping here. It’s along the NCR trail, which is fantastic for walking or riding your bike. We stopped here to use the restroom while riding our bikes and noticed the Monkton hotel. They have a little café, so we got some food and a cup of coffee. The coffee had a good flavor (not weak) and my ham sandwich on toasted sour dough was great. Cute little place with a lot of history. They also have outside seating.”
“Went there last week. Prices were cheap for what you get and will get you full. Our food came in around 10 minutes and was hot. I recommend the Pizza Hoagie for anybody coming here. There is biking parking in the front, for anybody wondering.”
“George and his crew at Jimmy’s catered a meal for 100 guests. The communication was simple and transparent, his timeliness was accurate and the ease of the entire transaction made everything run smoothly.Additionally, everyone commented how good the food was! Lastly, don’t skip the galaktoboureko dessert/custard as it was a favorite.”
“Everything about Veloccino is awesome. The food and coffee is great and the owner, Marc, is super knowledge about all things bikes. Ordered a Giant TCR and he had it ready to ride the next day, the bike has been amazing and he ran me through all the new features. He also threw in some shop bottles which are sweet. You can tell he's passionate about cycling and he fosters a great community around the cafe. Highly recommend!”
“No matter how busy, the service is always stellar.I have enjoyed every draft I’ve ordered. This is a business I appreciate every hardworking aspect of.Solid 5 stars.”
“Stopped in for lunch with a friend. I ordered the buffet, and they ordered from the menu.Staff noticed me waiting for my friend's food to arrive, and provided them with a smaller plate from the buffet so we could both start eating. Not just great food and service, but great hospitality!”
“We love this place! We usually eat here once a week. Everything we've tried on the regular menu is delicious. The weekly specials are always creative. The owners are very genuine, fun, down to earth people. Good vibes all around.”
“I like their food. The only thing to note is they have 18% service charge included in the bill. I hadn’t realized that till recently and I had been paying 20% of what was already billed, which means I was tipping them 42% of our “meal”. I thought that was a bit sneaky as I was not informed although I shud have checked my bill before paying!! Just be aware!!!The food is great. Love their spicy ramen, tartar, calamari, curry etc. Only one time, the spicy kani Inari was bad (kani had a sour smell and it had gone bad). Other times the food had been good and my toddler loves their curry!”
“Delicious food!!! Met up halfway with a friend and decided to come here for dinner. We both got our own personal pizza, I got cheese and she got the margherita. My cheese pizza was gone quick! It was so good. The place was small on the inside but had a lot of tables to sit at. Theres about 3 spots infront of the building next door and a parking lot around back. We went around 6 pm and it was on the light side for crowd, which suprised me.Service was just ok. Friendly enough. It wasnt that expensive too just for 2 people at a woodfire type place!I would definitely go back for the food!Parking: 3 or 4 spots in front along road and plenty in back”
“This is a wonderful little unique coffee shop. They have great breakfast foods and pastries. A selection of coffees and teas that's sure to please. It can get very crowded on weekends when the weather is nice so plan accordingly.”
“Such a fun place to go walk around! Immediately walking in you are hit with the smell of delish candied nuts. They seem to have everything here! I had to really hold back the urge to get so many baked goods and treats. Affordable prices for all items as well! The pretzels and donuts were exceptional- for the donuts I would recommend the yeasted varieties over the cake types, the dough seems better yeasted from this location. Thoroughly enjoyed and will be back!”
“Great food at a reasonable price, Everything is high quality, but sometimes the wait can be a bit longer than expected. For the quality it's worth it, but keep it in mind if you're in a hurry. Don't come here for atmosphere - it's really a carry out joint.”
“We have been getting takeout pizza from Strapasta for years, and I just realized that I have been remiss in not writing them a review, so here it is: They make great pizza. Specifically, I'd like to call out their Sicilian style pizza - not everyone makes a Sicilian style pie, and not everyone does it well, but this place makes it and knocks it right out of the park - great crust with a crispy shell but not too dense on the inside, and they are not stingy with the rest of the ingredients. The pie is also precisely the size of the takeout box, too - you can get yourself a workout carrying a stack of these things around. Next up for praise is the Bruschetta pizza. I haven't seen this idea implemented anywhere else - I guess it's kinda close to a Margherita pizza, but the addition of the bruschetta seasonings really makes this a superior choice. A+, would recommend. Typing this out is making me think that we need to dine in here one of these days, too.”
“rode our motorcycle down from York PA last night for a nice small meal. Wife had the BBQ flat bread Pizza and I have a Quesadilla and a beer each. Service was spot on as we sat at the high top tables. Server (she) was amazing and we left a 40% tip. Grew up in Freeland just down the road and always stop here when we can.”
“Jalapenos Mexican Grill is a surprisingly pleasant discovery in the area. The food is great depending on what you like. I think the burritos are the best choice I've made so far. I typically order with extra meat to fill it out fat! The chimichangas are likely good for those who prefer them, but I wasn't a fan of the fried taste. My son likes the tacos, but I think they're a little pricey and not loaded with all the things I would like. I have not yet tried the Peruvian specialties, but I hear they're great. The service is great - not perfect - but they make every attempt to serve you well. I had a problem with my order - once - and they were eager to correct it at no charge. Store is immaculately clean which tells me they definitely focus on all of the details that make for a quality establishment all around. Go get you some!!!”
“Beautiful spot with delicious brew!! Honestly, it's not a bad way to spend a weekend afternoon with a significant other or friend. Highly recommend you stop in for a pint. Cheers!”
“Tasty roadside BBQ joint. Tried a trio of meats, all were very moist but light on smoke and flavor. I didn't see or smell any traditional pits rolling smoke out back. I could be mistaken, but I suspect they are using electric smokers, hence If you are the kind of person that enjoys Mission BBQ, you'll love this spot. Their Mac n Cheese was banging!”
“Thank you for the wonderful wine tasting at Royal Rabbit. Giovanni and Roy were so both so welcoming, kind and invested in their craft. You can tell they really care about their wines here. Each wine we tasted were bright and flavorful, definitely make this a stop on your tours. Im sure it’s quite beautiful here in the summertime! Easy parking.”
“Absolutely my favorite winery in Maryland. Just 30 minutes away from Baltimore City with a beautiful drive. The pizza is fabulous and the wines are out of this world!”
“I have lived in the Hereford Zone for over 25 years and love patronizing local business. I usually try to stop at Dough Run once a week. I love their cinnamon rolls, best around until my last one. They are a bit pricey but it would be a rather large roll. The last one I bought was a third smaller but same price. I do know there is a new owner and there are adjustments that are made but the cinnamon rolls were were just something I looked forward to when I am there. Hopefully, they will get the rolls back to the correct size. Still a great place to stop in and grab a snack and some great coffee.”
“Place is great for food, drink, and to watch sports. I am having my rehearsal dinner here and Lauren was not only a pleasure to work with but made us feel like family. Service was great. Also as a Marylander I can say their crabcakes are fantastic! Real large lumps of crab! Will go back.”
“We hosted a celebration of my father’s life luncheon and it was amazing. We met prior to set the menu with Tom and his Chef. Their recommendations and guidance was so helpful and accommodating to our family. The day of the luncheon was so very special for all of our family and friends. The food was amazing, everyone kept telling me how good everything was. Equally important their entire staff made it so very special and were so accommodating. Thank you all so much, especially Tom Alderman. Marie Piermatteo Novak”
“I went to Friendly farms for my brothers 75th birthday. It's been twenty years since I was there and it's surprising that it hasn't changed. The food was very good, the only thing was the cost was too pricey ! There was 3 people in our party and it was. $140 !!! That's not counting the tip !! The server was very nice, her name was April and she did check on us a couple of times and very pleasant !!All of the sides were just the way I remembered....but I couldn't pay that price unless it was a special occasion. They used to have a small shop which has been closed since the pandemic. They did sell bakery goods but I think charging $18 for a pie was too high!!We were glad we tried it after all these years !!”
“This place is a hidden gem. The coffee is outstanding every time and I love the rotating menu of pastries. I've tried over a dozen different treats and every one of them has been amazing. If you haven't been here yet, you have to try it. But make sure you get there early, once they're out of pastries, they're out for the day.”
“This is the Hereford Zone's go to place for subs and homemade soups. Though small, it carries a big profile in the Zone. Fiil'er-Up's charitable contributions to the Hereford Zone. Cash is King with a 10 cents discount on gasoline at the pump.”
“We got the best crabs yet. Fast seating. Waitress was very polite and very sociable. She brought out our refills timely. Keep up with crabs . Very good service. Place was clean & ”
