“Very good food. John is the owner chef who has made Fox & Barrel a signature statement. He is a skilled chef, uses quality ingredients, and a Marylander makes an effort to go local. In short, he is a foodie's chef ?? that has made a warm and welcoming spot. His corn and crab chowder is to die for. It has layers of flavor, is well balanced, just right use of seasoning (not salty at all). His hush puppies were perfect and his homemade aioli dipping sauce has a warm flavor that compliments the hush puppy.Fox & Barrel is an up and coming popular spot, so it can be busy however he does do take out.“
“There's such a wide range of things to choose from, but their burgers and fries are amazing. It's the only place that no matter how long it's been there it's been good. To spite it being off the beaten path a little bit, it still finds customers easily. Inside is a neat mix of old and new wrapped into one place, still leaving the peanuts for customers to snack on while waiting while getting the big potatoe bags out of the way to create a larger space for eating. All the walls have framed articles from magazines etc from years of success. Great place to grab some good food on the way home or during lunch. Even a small order of fries will feed 2 people and is well worth it.I hope it helps ?Parking: Decent parking, connected to the place next door but decently secluded from other parking lots and handicap parking.Kid-friendliness: There are meals as well as options you can simply add to your order. When I go I have 3 kids and I can feed us all on little cheeseburgers and a small fry. For older kids a large fry might be best.Wheelchair accessibility: Sidewalk makes for easy wheelchair access as well as handicapped parking“
“We took an early evening drive for the stunning sunset. It took us an hour to get to TJ's. We shared their fantastic loaded potato skins and cheesy bacon burger. We were delighted! The waitress was welcoming and attentive. It seems we beat the crowd, getting there somewhat early. Look what they had at the table behind us... We'll be back!“
“My husband had a snow day off work and I had a gift card so we went for lunch. It had been a while for us both. It was as great as we remembered! For those that have never been- a Little Cheeseburger/Hamburger is a single patty. The Cheeseburger/Hamburger is 2 patties. You have a ton of choices of items to put on your burgers. Lastly, they give you A TON of fries for all sizes. We got a Cheeseburger, a Little Cheeseburger, and a Little Fry that we both shared. We had no issues and everything tasted delicious! Not sure when but we will be back for sure!“
“The staff here are extra friendly, extra knowledgeable, extra attentive, however the food and the seasoning on the chicken itself is okay but they were out of one of the sauces I have never tried karma additionally do not get the mashed potatoes because without salt and pepper and gravy it is very bland and “
“There's no beating the whopper. I don't have BK near where I live but I have to come to Mt. Airy for family reasons every week and this is my treat! Only complaint is the price. And apparent added fees. Whopper with cheese and a (small) bottled water was $11.Parking: Huge lot“
“Food was as expected and the service was fine though not the most friendly and almost no words were exchanged. Restrooms were disgusting but the staff didn't care. A couple even used the restrooms and didn't come back to clean them up afterwards. I guess dirty bathrooms are the “
