Had Irish Eggs Benedict with a side of homemade raisin toast and it was excellent. Cute small place, friendly staff, and a nice menu from sweet things (stuffed French toast) to savory (homemade hash).

This was such a pleasant surprise and highly recommend dropping in! As other review states, homemade cinnamon buns and apple bread are fantastic. But we also had a "Garden Pile" which was scrambled eggs loaded with fresh vegetables and a cup of homemade chicken dumpling soup. Everything is made proudly from scratch and we left with freshly baked pumpkin chocolate chip muffins. The owners and waitstaff are lovely, friendly people who made us feel incredibly welcome.

We spent a weekend in Auburn to just get out of Portland and every single meal was a win! Center Street Cafe is just a diner on the main drag. No frills. It would appear to be staffed by the owner and family and their friends. In my experience, that is either a recipe for disaster or an amazing meal. This is definitely the latter!
