This is our second time to this restaurant for breakfast. Both times we came the service, the food and atmosphere was terrible. The restaurant was filthy, service was slow, food orders wrong both times and cold. The restrooms were in disarray. Trash everywhere, filthy and no seat covers, no paper towels in either dispenser and soap was running low. Both times I informed the staff about the restroom issues and they were never addressed. Our food came out cold, the toast was so hard is crumbled. Cold eggs are very disgusting and unbearable to eat. This will be our last time eating at this IHOP every again. We thought the first time we just went there we got them during a rush. However the second time, there only 7 tables were occupied and the service, the food and atmosphere all were the same. Very disappointing since Maine only has 4 IHOPS in the entire. Three of which we have eaten and 2 of the 3 are really bad.

My husband & I are disabled. We arrived at 11am. My husband using a walker and I am bent over due to back injury and we asked if we could sit at the table closest to the door as the cushions in the waiting area are so low that I would never have been able to get him up. She said she needed to get the kitchen caught up first. I told her that we really needed to sit and she repeated her first comment adding this time it's going to take about 20 minutes. The doors are not handicapped.. I had to hold doors open so I could get him through one and rush to get to the other door so that we could get in. Then to be told that we couldn't just sit at the empty table closet to the door. I had no choice but to seat him there anyway. Poor customer service Poor handicape accessibility.

I was pleased today, when I had mentioned my food allergies to my server, they paid attention to my needs. That was followed up by the kitchen staff coming out specifically to ask about the details so that they could keep me safe. This was all done while the restaurant was more full than I have ever experienced. I could not rate this service any higher!

Bland and typical of a mom and pop diner; there's nothing to set the atmosphere apart. The true tragedy is the misleading menu's and portion sizes which equate more to a happy meal for kids. The bland and small portions aren't nearly worth the high prices they charge. You're better off visiting a local diner for a fair priced breakfast order. It wasn't just Maine either. I had the same experience at the Nanuet, NY branch as well; in fact it was worse. The price I paid for the Augusta branch is labeled already, but when I went to Nanuet and ordered 3 meals for 3 people, the cost came to $75 total. Ridiculous! And your company can f off with your cookie cutter response, because we all know you won't do anything to fix the issue😒❌👎🏼

Terrible service! Went to have Sunday breakfast with my daughter. Was seated and forgotten. Waiter went by us 6 times with no acknowledgement, 15 min in and still no one to even ask us for drinks. I would NEVER recommend anyone here!
