Terrible service! Went to have Sunday breakfast with my daughter. Was seated and forgotten. Waiter went by us 6 times with no acknowledgement, 15 min in and still no one to even ask us for drinks. I would NEVER recommend anyone here!

My cheese omelette with peppers and onions was incredibly dry; the wheat toast was low quality bread. The server, Bella, was efficient and friendly.

My girlfriend and I had ordered.. I got everything I wanted, fresh.. but hers was like the food has been sitting for a bit and just got reheated, she didn't even get what she ordered.. has to remind the server to give us utensils/ketchup and napkins. It's combined with a hotel and the only thing that actually came good of the visit.. was how great our server was after the initial things we needed.

This Ihop used to be a great breakfast spot in the Augusta area before COVID. Post pandemic, it never recovered. Yes today's staffing shortages make for difficult times in the service industry and bumps in the road are expected. I think we all as customers understand and accept occasional minor hiccups in service quality. However, this Augusta Ihop has yet to reach a satisfactory level of service since 2020!...given it a try 4 times between summer-2021 and summer 2022: Long waits for both seating and food service, poorly trained staff, dirty tables and mixed up orders and tabs - while 2 or 3 extra wait staff hang around the check-in podium socializing. The source of this problem is clearly upper management and not post-pandemic wake. Decent food, but this alone can't offset the cons. The Denny's down the street is small and has long weekend breakfast waits, but is a much better experience by comparison overall.
UPDATE: revisited this IHOP in 2025 and it's clear they've improved to much better service since my last review 3 yrs ago. Food and service was very good (at least 4 out of 5).

The food was very much franchise oriented , the service was sub par and the atmosphere was very designed to make you feel like you need to eat and leave so they could turn tables.

My little brother and I usually met at Denny's in Augusta once as year to catch-up. It was temporarily closed so we decided on IHOP in Augusta. The waitress was very patient with us where we were catching up and not look at our food options. We were there for a couple of hours. Would definitely met up there again
Not sure how the food will be. But it is cold in here. When I go to a restaurant I shouldn't have to wear a jacket while eating 😔

It was exactly what we were looking for. The waitresses were really friendly and really cared if we and others at various tables were happy. Made me wished we lived close by.
Dietary restrictions: If one is watching their carbs it's a great place to go to. Plenty of low to no carbs offered.
Kid-friendliness: The kids get to eat free on certain days of the week. Dennys used to do that where we live but...... it does not offer it anymore.
