I was very unhappy with my experience here. Service was slow and dismissive, and our waitress made a rude comment about our dietary restrictions. The only real option available was a salad priced around $20 each, which set an expectation that wasn’t met. The most concerning issue happened when I went inside to use the restroom and saw what appeared to be a staff member picking items off my salad with their bare hands instead of having it remade. After I spoke up, the person simply stopped and went back to digging through their purse that was sitting on the bar, showing no concern for basic hygiene. When I asked for the salad to be remade properly, the response was rude and unapologetic. Based on the service and food handling alone, I would not recommend this place.

We ordered escargot to share which was very good. Crab dip was wonderful plenty to share. Scallop casserole was very very good. Service was spot on. We will definitely go back.

So, so wonderful. Everything was absolutely delicious. I’ve never had biscuits like the ones that were served tonight. Every course was a beautiful and scrumptious surprise. Atmosphere was comfortably elegant. And the owner was so kind. We hope to visit again soon.

We had dinner at Ottos last week. The experience was awful. I ordered a cosmopolitan and it came in a tall glass loaded with ice and very short on alcohol. The waiter was kind and did bring me a shot to add to the drink. A cosmopolitan is a martini, not a mixed drink. I ordered pasta and it was disgusting. My husband also ordered a pasta entree and he said it was average. We won’t go back.

We were looking to switch things up this year for Thanksgiving and came upon Otto's... 1st time going and we had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner!!! Highly recommend!!! Thank you!!!!

My dad and I went a few days ago and I thought it was great! We admittedly came pretty late and close to closing but the owner (I think that’s who he was?) had let us come in anyways so that was already very kind of him. Since it was late there weren’t many other people there so it was easy to get seated lol. The owner had been our server for the night as well and he was great, I’d say. He was nice and brought us everything we asked for and checked in to see if we liked everything. Everything tasted good in my opinion as well! We got complimentary bread at the start which was nice. We got frog legs as our appetizer and we liked them a lot! Then for the main course I got the fettuccine Alfredo and my father got the venison. I really liked mine and he said he liked his too. And for dessert we got the Amish lemon pie. We were also given a couple chocolate covered strawberries! Overall I was very happy. Would go again. Also the atmosphere and vibes were pretty nice in my opinion, quite elegant! Looked clean as well from what I could tell.

Otto’s on the River was a true foodie experience. Our table of 5 ordered a few apps and entrees from steak to seafood to vegetarian. The table was very quiet once we started eating our meals. This was due to mouthfuls and chewing and sipping delicious cocktails and cold beers! Great wait staff and attention to detail. Nice atmosphere- relaxed, unhurried…highly recommend.
