About Asian Palace II
Asian Palace II Reviews
I haven't been here in years, but the food quality was poor. they don't serve soup?? the parking lot is an ice skating rink. the walk way, including ADA ramp was all ice too. if I still lived in this area. this would not be my first choice for Chinese
food was extremely overcooked and hard. General Tso's chicken seemed like it was old chicken refried. both the chicken and the pork fried rice had zero flavor and were hard
Food was lukewarm and had absolutely no flavor. A few hours later my stomach decided it didn't like it either. Never again.
Menu
Asian Palace II offers legitimate and very good Chinese food, with slightly higher quality but smaller portions compared to other restaurants in Bangor. The steamed and fried dumplings are well-made but pricier for the amount received. General Tso's chicken is a standout dish, cooked well with a terrific sauce that balances flavors nicely. The restaurant is take-out only, providing decent food, although some dishes like the dumplings can be a bit doughy when busy. Customers have noted that the packaging for take-out meals is unexpected, with large combo plate boxes that may not seem fully filled, making portion sizes difficult to assess. Wheelchair accessibility is available with a ramp for convenience. Everyone is friendly and helpful, taking time to answer questions and make suggestions. If one is looking for above-average Chinese food in the area and doesn't mind paying a little extra for quality, Asian Palace II remains a good choice for a satisfying meal.
