“We live in Florida now, but formally we lived across the Penobscot in Brewer. I have never found Chinese food in Florida that has food as great as China Harbor! The hot and sour soup is the best I have ever had on the East coast of the US. Love this place! It is a must stop everytime we return to Maine! I don’t know what restaurant the reviewers who labelled the 3 ladies as rude were in, but it couldn’t have been the place I go! Even if it has been a year since being there they always recognize me and my family! At first I think there may have been both cultural and language barriers. But I always joke with them and compliment them and the food! If I were still going there regularly we would be great friends! Respect is a two way street!Love this place and everything about it!“
“This was my 4th visit with friends. We were seated right away and greeted by our waitress. She was knowledgeable about the menu and offered suggestions. Food was delicious ( chicken and fresh pineapple stir fry in a sweet chili sauce) and I recommend the oolong tea.“
“This has been my favorite sushi place in Bangor that I have found so far. I go here often for the service, the ambiance, and the food. As a California girl, I've had all types of quality sushi from the cheap and sad sushi to bank-breaking omakase. Green Tea is at a good comfort level of good sushi at a medium price range. Not mind-blowing sushi like I've had at other places but still very good for the middle of Maine. I've come here to dine with 1 person but have also come to dine with 12 people. Green tea is very good at accommodating your party and taking early reservations for large parties. I always especially love the private rooms for small groups where you can close the door, and, whenever you need the waiter/waitress, you flip the light switch and the red lantern outside your door lights up alerting the staff that you request their services. The restaurant tries to stay true with all Japanese decor. I love the selection they have for their menu. There's something for everyone. Even a large drink menu. If you order any of the boat sushis, you'll get this beautiful presentation of your sushi on their large bamboo boats. Or, if you ordered enough sushi rolls, they might put it on a boat anyway! I've also never found a dessert I didn't like.“
“We moved to the area almost two months ago and this place has quickly become one of our favorites! The prices are great, our food is always delicious, and the dumplings are perfection! My only suggestion is to not go in expecting friendly customer service or to dine in. They have a table set up across the main door so it's take out only, which is always fine with me but some might not appreciate. The only employee I've ever dealt with isn't the friendliest but the food hasn't disappointed yet!“
“First food review I’ve ever done because of how much I liked eating here. This place is a hidden gem! We are VERY picky about hot and sour soup. Chopsticks has some the THE best we’ve had. Reasonable prices, fresh food, and friendly service. We thoroughly enjoyed dining in there. We had the General Tsos chicken, and it was crispy on the outside and tender inside. The sauce was terrific too. We will be eating here many more times.“
“My favorite Chinese buffet ! We drive from skowhegan for it. I love that it has sushi offered as well as so many other delicious dishes like general tsos, noodles, rice , even american dishes like salmon and beef brisket. Try for a quick lunch it's cheaper or dinner it's more delicious ?Kid-friendliness: Definitely a kid friendly place.“
