OJ is a Bangor STAPLE! It has been there for as long as I can remember and it’s grown and changed along with the times, I wish they would open their buffet back up…. But if you want the best chinese food and best service, this is the place to go!
Food and service was great!
We couldn’t wait to leave a great review! We went here because the Stephen King tour recommended it. Turns out the food, the drinks; the service, and the atmosphere are more than worth it! We shared a Scorpion Bowl and a Pupu Platter and loved both. Our server, Eric, was great, too. Would definitely go back!

The restaurant has a classic Asian feel, and the presentation is impressive. Many dishes are tender and crunchy, with the MooShu Chicken Szechuan style being spicy and delicious. However, some dishes, such as the pork and chicken, may not always meet expectations. The boneless ribs are meaty and not fat-laden, and the teriyaki chicken and steak are large and delicious. Despite some inconsistencies, the front desk staff and waiters are friendly and polite. The restaurant is kid-friendly, with a special deal on Thursday nights. The menu includes popular items like honey chicken and phenomenal pork belly bao buns. If sushi is a favorite, it is also available. Overall, Oriental Jade is a great choice for a night out or a family dinner, and it has grown and changed along with the times.
