Stopped on the way back from Canada. I had the chicken pot pie and it was delicious. Full of chicken and veggies with a fantastic crust. Very light and flaky. My friend had the thanksgiving sandwich and she raved about it. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. My only complaint is that they do not have the Purple Pie anymore. It was a blueberry pie with a crumble crust and most of the proceeds went to help the Alzhiemer's Association. It was unbelievable!!
Nice place and atmosphere. Very clean. Wait staff was nice. The food was just okay. Definitely nothing to write home about. Crazy part was I order the sausage gravy with biscuits and eggs. After waiting a bit longer than would normally be expected the waitress brings out our food. She brings my 2x eggs and tater tots and informs me they are out of sausage gravy and asked if I would like to order something else. The cooks literally made half of my order and then were like, “oh...
I stopped in there convenience store like I often do. They have a wide selection of things to choose from and also very nice clean restrooms. The service there is also very very good and friendly and quite often times I will pick up my lottery tickets there. It is also a great place to get ethanol free gas for my snowblower in the winter time.
