As someone who doesn’t love beer (I know, I know, what went wrong in my upbringing?) I absolutely loved the fountain/tap blueberry soda. A Maine beverage at its finest… right where it’s made. And somehow it tastes far better than the bottled version. And the free refill is the icing on the cake.
The beer was the best part obviously. The blueberry ale or mountain hopper were great places to start. They advertise dog friendly, however, this is only on the 1st floor outside which has no seatable tables. We’re tourists so we were getting small food plates at each restaurant we tried. Whatever you do, don’t get the truffle fries. Luckily we walked 12 miles in the morning to create an appetite, but the “truffle fries” were not what you think as traditional truffle fries....
Overall a great experience. Their truffle fries were a very generous portion! Lobster roll was also great. We did also try the duck wings, and I didn’t find those to be very good. Beers were all at least decent, but some lacked flavor, especially the Irish stout and summer ale.
